I called to get an outside faucet fixed. They not only charge a $60 service fee but the technician told me it would be $217 to change it and that if damage was done when removing it he would have to charge me more. He didn't even touch the faucet or tell me how he was going to try to fix it.
Since there was not an exact price I declined the service. I didn't want to be charged more if he had trouble removing it.
Long story short, I paid $60 just so someone could tell me to fix my faucet!

Just got an estimate for over 2 grand just to swap out a water heater!! And I was even supplying the water heater!!! This is at most a 2 hour job, what a ripoff never calling again. The plumber I normally use only charges $500 but he was busy when I needed him

Do not let their name fool you! They charged me $2,500.00 to replace a hot water heater. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I used them before but I will never call them again. They just lost a customer.

Never used before but was referred to by our property manager. who stated great reviews from her friend.

Needed a gas control valve replaced that cost $189 (Found on Home Depot Website) Would have allowed my handyman to replace but it looked more complicated then I felt comfortable asking him to replace. Affordable came out and gave $65 diagnostic charge. After determinng problem quoted $725+ in total including the initial $65. I figured it was a complex time consuming job as a New Bradford White Water runs under $1,800 installed by our usual plumber (Affordable quoted $2800-3200). From Diagnosing to picking up part and installing, total time was 2.5 hours.. Charged $550 in just labor.

Very polite service tech but hands down the most expensive plumbing company we have ever used in 30+ years of business. They are polite, professional but affordable?...... only for customers that want to pay $175+ per hour for a service call.

Fast response, same day service, got the job done at a reasonable price and provided photo and video documentation. 30 day warranty on labor. $232.75 to replace a leaking ptrap under my kitchen sink.

Overall I had a great experience with Always Affordable Plumbing. I mainly wanted someone who could get the job done with a fair and reasonable price. Based on their NAME and past reviews, I took a bet on these guys. I say I took a bet, because they still charge $60 for a consultation. If you go with them after the consultation, they won't charge you for it. But if you go w another business after their consultation, they'll charge you.

I get why-- it cost time and gas for someone to come over and diagnose a problem. But if you have to pay $60 for someone to even look at the problem...you're probably going to have to go with them or you're out another $60. There's really no shopping around, so I have to make sure these guys weren't going to charge me an arm and a leg.

I found another business that quoted me $225, I would've gone w them but they responded after I already had these guys at the house. Good to know I was within a similar quoted price range though.

Will consider them again for future troubles.

Jesus Rosario Sr. was my Technician, Mr. Rosario arrived ahead of schedule and was very professional. His knowledge of the job was evident in his explanation of the task at hand, I had talk with several Technicians, but we felt comfortable with his experience and the price which he quoted us that was less than half of the previous Technicians quotes. Always Affordable Plumbing, you get experienced, professional, timely Technicians, at an affordable price.

Our water main broke and we needed someone that was reliable. They came out right when they said they would, did a great job and had our water back on hours before we thought was possible. They were great!

We needed two new toilets so called a few places and AAP responded the quickest. I gave them the type of toilet needed and they sent Curtis out. He was very honest about the problems with our floors and which toilets would work best. He did a great job shimmying them both even. We liked their job so much we've got them coming back to put new bathroom sinks in too!

I called affordable plumbing to fix a leak from a pipe outside my house. They told me over the phone that it would be $59 to assess the issue. The plumber got out and tried to charge me $225 to assess the issue, claiming that the initial assessment fee of $59 didn't include digging around the pipe to find the issue!!! Ridiculous! Then he tells me that the problem will probably cost me around $700-$1000 anyway!

Long story short, I paid $59 for someone to look at the outside pipe, no assessment, and I still have a leak.

Would not recommend at all! They'll try and get as much money as they can from you!

My wife and I are doing multiple home remodels projects at our home from hardwood floors to window blinds and painting the interior. We have utilized many different contractors for different jobs the past month. I would like to start this review with complimenting two employees in your office Marlene and Anna. After I made my first initial call to Always Affordable Plumbing: Marlene was able to fit me in right away for a service call regarding needing a new garbage disposal and leak from my kitchen sink looked at. Over the next two days i spoke to Marlene and Anna who both were very nice, polite and made sure I was aware of when the Plumber would be arriving at my house. We were playing phone tag a few times but they both reached out and showed they care. I received an email ,texts, and spoke to both them. This is how a company from the start should work with their customers to have a great rapport and keep a new customer coming back to them. There are so many companies now that dont follow up or show great customer service as the two of them did.
Plumber Troy B. was dispatched to my home and welcomed and introduced himself at the front door. I showed him the issue with the leaks and garbage disposal. He ran to home depot to get a new disposal unit, came back and in less then 15 mins fixed the underside plumbing in the kitchen. He had a great personality, customer service oriented and did several tests of the plumbing before leaving my home. All 3 employees deserve a kudos and I will be coming back to your company for plumbing issues in the future. Keep up the great work!
