Called first thing in the morning to get oil because I ran out. Since my tank need to be primed and they couldn't give me a time window I stayed home all day waiting for oil to be delivered only to call back and told it wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow due to an oversight. I understand mistakes happen but the manner of which this was handled was unacceptable.

You should never do business with these crooks they always rescheduled my appointment for cleanings every year ,messed up my furnace 2 times where they had to come back and I was charged for one of them. The last straw was they took money without permission from my account when I had been paying every couple weeks to catch up on my bill and had given them strick instructions never to charge with out talking to me first. I had made a lot of payments this way and they claimed that the last time I authorized and said I would pay remaining balance in a couple weeks witch was a lie and them hearing and writing what they wanted claiming I was lying and that it's to bad for me and my overdrawn account and penalties and 3 children as far as they were concerned I authorized wich I didn't and they can not procude proof besides their notes witch they were changing as I was speaking to them. Keep in mind that I'm from town and know most people there and even have the same name as the business. If they will steal from me they will not have a problem doing so from anyone

I have been a customer since 2011 but no longer as this is the 2nd time Alves Fuels (Apex Oil is another name but same company) could not deliver to me even on an emergency basis and premium price

I live in an older home with steam heat. The pipes are old, which results in a lot of sediment clogging up my boiler. I have had to have it serviced several times because of this issue. I called Alves this year after they were recommended by a neighbor. I was told to flush the boiler once a month to prevent this problem. Such a simple step to reduce maintenance costs and extend the life of my boiler, and the company I used before Alves never bothered to mention this. I'm so glad I made the switch. I would definitely recommend Alves.

Called to have work done per my insurance company. Took 4 calls to get an appointment. I was quoted 100-300. Tech did more than was asked for or required... second fuel line to nowhere and I received a bill for nearly $500. I will never use them again. Every part of the experience was negative. I highly recommend anyone except these folks

The good. Their price was fair, and their work quick. BUT, my blower just needed to be cleaned not replaced, and the repair guy took the original unit WITHOUT asking. That's inexcusable.
