Alternative Services is a comprehensive Maintenance Handyman company, offering a variety of Household and Business solutions. We offer woodworking, Plumbing, and Electrical. In addition, we handle outside repairs, such as deck repair, fence restoration, screen door installation, patio door installation, siding installation, pothole filling, ADA signs, and supports, and more. I started my journey in 1983. Over the past 30 years, I have gained knowledge in woodworking, drywall installation, plumbing, electrical systems, tile installation, acoustical ceilings, deck construction, and fences, as well as door installation, among other skills.

Recently, I served as a supervisor for a multi-million-dollar company, overseeing all office procedures. This experience, I learned knowledge into the operational aspects of a company.

With my knowledge of both the technical side and the business side, I realized to launch my own business and reintroduce high standards, honesty, reliability, and value to the market.

My journey in construction started on weekends, working on roofs with my family. Once I completed high school, I joined a construction firm as a worker, moving drywall.

A few years later, I saw a job listing in the paper for carpenters, no experience needed. While I didn’t mind carrying drywall, I wanted to learn more in the construction field. I responded and secured the job. At Elk Head Construction, I learned wall framing, hanging drywall, taping drywall, door installation, acoustical ceilings, and all aspects of carpentry.

After some time, I decided to gain experience in something new, so I joined with an independent contractor for tile installation of ceramic and vinyl floor and wall tile. Additionally, we worked on windows and vinyl siding on houses.
