We highly recommend Ruslan. Not only did he do a great drywall/spackle job, he bolted our downspouts to our stucco home efficiently. We also had a leak in our bathroom which we thought was caused by the skylight. We wanted Ruslan to repair the damaged area but he informed us that we should get the skylight repaired first to make sure that's where the leak was coming from, otherwise paying him to repair it twice would be a waste of money. He has exceptional character.

I would give the Altadena Handyman 10 stars to the power of 10 if I could!! If what you need is an exceptionally honest & intelligent person to work with (who returns calls quickly & shows up on time!!) - you absolutely need to look no further!! I have about a million small jobs that need to be done & Rusian gave me excellent advice - he counseled me to come up with a master plan & seek out general contractor who could do everything at once, in a few days. He said that it would be faster, cheaper & , that in the long run, I would be happier with the end product. If I EVER need a handyman - I will call Rusian immediately!

Ruslan did an amazing job. He replaced a part of a stucco wall, fixed a faulty ceiling fan and did some wood work. He cleaned up the space when the job was done.

When we got the Jumbo size high efficiency washer, we had to upgrade the pipes to bigger ones to avoid overflow. So the previous plumber had to tear out the wall which left a big hole that needs to be patched on. Since the new pipes are much bigger than the previous ones, they were sticking out a little bit from the wall surface. We needed someone who's really great at drywall to do this job.

So glad we found Ruslan. He got it done in a timely manner and solved the ""sticking out"" issue and his work is FLAWLESS!! His fee was very reasonable. Unlike other contractors we have dealt with, Ruslan was honest, responsive and on time with absolute NO BS!

I had made several attempts to request quotes from 2 other highly recommended handymen. Neither responded and I was beginning to feel like a stalker. I decided to try one more time before throwing in the towel. I requested a quote from Ruslan via Yelp and to my absolute surprise, he responded within minutes. He came to my condo on a Saturday morning and spent at least 30 minutes with me. My issues were minor but he treated me as if I were asking him to remodel my bathroom. I admit, I am skeptical when it comes to repair work and the people who perform it. Maybe I have seen too many television shows in which the petite and seemingly naive female customer is totally scammed. Well, I am a skeptic no more! Ruslan was punctual on both visits (he actually arrived early both times). He spent over 1 1/2 hours (including the time that he drove to the hardware store to purchase materials for me) and in the end, he only charged me the amount of the materials. I love a good deal, but I felt like I didn't pay him enough. From now on, Ruslan is the person whom I will call when things go a awry in my condo. It is so nice to know that there are still honest people out there!
