This Plumer was recommended by Lowes. Mr DM came by to do the assessment for the faucet installation. Mr DM say will send me the quote after a long talked. I still have not received the quote from him after 4 days. Not reliable. If not interested with this project just let me know and i will look for others. Not recommended this plumber.

Spent $800 to fix a small drip. He didn't have his tools to even start the job and said he would be back. Then we had to call to get him back. After the job was supposed to be done the drip was gone, but the shower and spout both released water when I turned it on. We purchased a new system and he mixed the old and new parts. Turns out he installed the system upsid down and used zip ties to hold PEX tubes in place rather than brackets. Left the trash behind and had to clean up. It's goes on and on, but long story short, we hired another plumber and dropped another $400 to fix his crappy work.

Had them come out to check popping water heater in a new home we purchased to see if it needs to be replaced or flushed and we were concerned it was in the attic. They said the 2013 water heater appeared ok and needed to just be flushed and recommend we but a auto shut off on it in case of any leaks which we did. We paid then almost $900. LESS than 2 weeks the loud popping was back. At that time they wanted to put a new water heater in with no compensation for the work 2 weeks ago that didn't fix the problem. The worst part is I just hired another plumbing company to come out and replace the water heater. Turns out Alta installed the shut off valve INCORRECT CAUSING A LEAK. The entire system was getting ready to shut off. I have documentation and pictures from the new company and I can't get Alta to even respond. Very unprofessional company.

This company was assigned to us via American Home Shield (our home warranty provider) to come and deal with an issue with our garbage disposal.
After ghosting us the day of the original appointment (a Friday) I was able to get one identified as Flora Garcia on the phone who told us that the technician would be coming the following day (Saturday) in the morning or early afternoon. When it came to be mid-afternoon and the tech still hadn't reached out to us I started calling the number we had for them and must have dialed over 100 times before Flora Garcia answered and acted like she didn't even know an appointment existed. She did however assure me that she would investigate on her end what happened and when to expect a technician to show up. Satisfied with that promise I waited a couple more hours before resuming my frantic dialing of the company's phone number to no avail. Eventually we had to go back to American Home Shield to have a new vendor assigned to our claim. Our sink has now been backed up with no working disposal for four days. I hope that American Home Shield will recognize the poor quality of this vendor's service and stop using them immediately. Customers of American Home Shield in central Texas beware if this vendor is assigned to you and prepare to do a lot of legwork trying to get your issues addressed. Whether it's their unresponsiveness or their lack of professionalism, you will be thoroughly dissatisfied with Alta Vista Plumbing Services, LLC. There are many options for plumbing services in this area and this company should not be getting business.

We bought two toilets at Lowe's and purchased the installation plan they offered. The scheduling was handled through the "Handy" app, which I don't love. Was originally scheduled for the previous week, then they moved it to today without checking to see that it worked for me. Luckily it did. Today went smoothly, as they arrived on time, had correctly picked up my order at the store, were polite and professional, were quick/did a neat job and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, a good experience and I would use Alta Vista again!

Mr Maldonado and team dragged their feet and then never came back after they broke further my bathroom faucet. They were also 2.5times more expensive than my next plumber so they did me a favor by not coming back. But still it was unprofessional and discourteous and time and energy consuming repetitively calling them. I hate leaving bad reviews but am so disappointed.

Exorbitant price $2806.80 for a hot water tank and installation. Was told tank was $795 and total would be about $1200-1300. $800 for the tank and over $2000 for installation. Called to express my displeasure with the price and was connected with "The Big Boss" Steve. Told Steve I thought the price was way too high. He replied he was out of office but when he got back in office he would review the file and call me back. He admitted that the rates were fixed. That would have been nice to know upfront as I would have got other estimates. As I pay this bill all I can say is don't be stupid like me get a firm price.

This company was sent out by a home warranty company to complete repairs on a hot water heater. The guy that showed up was here for an extremely long time. He said he hit a reset button and that he was going to replace the thermostats, and the heating elements. One month later hot water heater stops working again. The upper thermostat that the guy told wife, and I he replaced had went out. Had different company come out they don't believe that the thermostat was replaced. There is also an issue where the guy left a heating element loose on the hot water heater. They were also supposed to quote replacing the hot water heater with a tankless heater. They guy talked a big game but that's all it was. We never received a call back or quote form then. They were sent out by AHS home warranty who refuses to make the repairs right because it was just passed 30 days even though it was shorty workmanship the heating element. Anyhow I would not recommend this company or the warranty company they do work for to anyone.

This company was assigned by AHS to replace my garbage disposal. Two days before Thanksgiving, can't use dishwasher or one side of sink. Major food prep going on in my house. I called them this morning and they moved heaven and earth for me. They didn't have any openings until Monday but jumped in and scheduled me for 6 pm. Got a call from David and he said he would try to move a few things and come in earlier. They arrived around 4:30 and that new disposal was up and running in about 10 minutes. Thank you everyone at AVPS. These disasters always happen at the wrong time but this company rocks! I couldn't be happier. The techs left and my dishwasher was running and I was able to use my sink and disposal. Couldn't ask for more. I was certainly thankful for their terrific and speedy service.

Called for a leak at my water main. They came out and "repaired it", but it started leaking a couple months later.
Repeatedly tried to call them to come back out and look at it; they just ignored me.
Had another plumber come out and fix it. What happened was they cut the PVC pipe too short to make full contact with the fitting (it only went in about 1/4"), thus resulting in a second leak.
The second plumber actually charged less than Alta Vista and did a better job.
