Called him based on a recommendation from another company. Big mistake. Told me toilet overflowed due to ""low"" water (lol) and charged me $130 for this incorrect information, when I called him back due to the persistent noise the toilet had been making he said it was the ""flow valve"" which is what I originally told him was the problem. He then stated he would charge another $130 to replace it. I declined this and as he was leaving told me ""lady, you're not worth it"" and threw my check back at me. I later purchased the valve myself and had an outstanding pumber install and adjust the hose to the wall connection. This guy is bad news and seems to have issues with ladies.

So glad I went with Al! He came highly recommended. Communication over the phone was a little gruff, but he was quick to respond and went above and beyond to come by a second time when I got off work late. Al is extremely kind, very professional, and reasonably priced. He was very quick to resolve my plumbing issue (backed up kitchen sink), and went under the house in the crawl space to be certain there were no further issues he could foresee. I'm very happy with the service I received and will definitely call him again if I have any other issues.

In case you're searching based on their number... I didn't actually do business with these guys, but I was cutoff mid-intersection by one of their service vans... ... It must just be one guy, because I'm unable to find anyone reasonable to complain to.

I used Al of Al's Sewer Service to snake a sewer line that had become clogged. He claimed he got it cleared, ""pushed roots all the way to the city's main."" Two days later my tenant called to complain the line was backed up again. I called Al to have him return to snake it again, yet he refused, completely ignoring the 30 day warranty he gave me. Said he already spent two hours and wasn't doing it again. This guy is a complete piece of work. We'll see what the small claims judge thinks of his business practices. Unfortunately, he chose the wrong person to mess with, because I absolutely will travel all the way from my home in Northern California to fight this rascal in court if necessary. For the $100 I paid him? You bet I will. I'm that angry. I don't tolerate dishonest business people and feel a moral obligation to fight back on behalf of other potential victims.

I have a number of rental properties. I have used Al in the past with pretty good success. I gave his phone number to a renter of mine to have their line cleaned. He went out to the home twice within a month. He did not fix the problem on the first or the second visit. The renter paid him $400. And the problem is still not fixed. When Al was asked what the problem was he stated, ""It's not my house, how would I know."" He stated if he wants the problem to be fixed, he would have to be paid to come for a 3rd time. He then stated he is busy, he does not have time to talk with me, and he has to go. I would not use him again nor recommend he or his company.
