Do not use: $50 trip charge no quote, $391 for quote - no repair, $598 repair-no warranty. Total $989 for a cracked fitting by the water meter on my side and 30-45mins worth of work. Customer service doesn't have prices for quotes but technician has precise prices. My recommendation, find someone else. If the city tells you that a leak has been detected by the meter, save yourself some money and just dig up the area around the meter.

I have had issues with this company over my yearly inspection, not to mention the labor I had to endure while I was brought to "code." I'm regretful of not following my on judgement in not getting a 2nd or 3rd opinion.
I would never recommend them to anyone.

On Wednesday, we were quoted $382 to repair/replace an outdoor faucet ($30 part), and an additional $592 to add a shut off valve ($20 part) on the inside wall. We had already demolished the wall ourselves to gain access to the plumbing (since it was wet and needed to be removed anyway), and told them that we'd like a plastic access cover ($60 part) to make future repairs easier, but they said they weren't able to install one.
They even shut off the water to our home before turning on the faucet to see where the leak was coming from. This and the price felt scam-my, so we paid them the $49 trip fee to get them off our property. We will not be inviting them back. We only invited them in the first place because we thought the copper pipe connecting to the faucet may need repair because we found it wrapped in duct tape from a previous repair (and thus, may have needed cutting, which we don't have the tools for).
Thank you for reminding us why we've started doing everything ourselves! I'm all for paying extra for a professional to do the job correctly, but $900 in labor for a 30 min job is quite excessive.

$415 to snake my sewer line and tell me it was broken then gave me an estimate of $3,900 to repair but I could use that $415 towards the repair. Oldest trick in the book. They got you. Found someone to do it for $1,500 and it included showing me with a camera where the pipe was broken. I'd use them again if I had money to throw away in my sewer.

These guys were lifesavers! We had an emergency situation: my husband was replacing our thermostat the day before our house was to be inspected for new buyers. Once he replaced it, however, the AC wouldn't come back on. This happened at 8 pm on a Sunday night.
In a panic, I called Al's. Johnny G., the repairman, was out here within an hour and a half.
I'll admit that I was a little worried that given our circumstance, we might get overcharged. However, that fear was proven wrong. Johnny was incredibly honest and trustworthy and really cared about helping us. We had blown out the transformer and wiring. He didn't have the transformer on his truck, so he promised to come back first thing in the morning when he could get the part from the office.
Sure enough, Johnny called around 8 am to say he was on his way and had our AC up and running by 9:30! I will forever be indebted to these guys for the fast, friendly, and honest service we received. I would not hesitate to call them again - and ask for Johnny G!

Rip off...They wanted to charge me $487 to rebuild a toilet bowl tank. I can buy a new one and have it installed for that much. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

They charged my 83 year-old grandmother $750 to fix a leaky faucet, and made her go buy the parts at Home Depot, which cost an additional $78. My Dad called Scott to notify him that this was wrong, and that it sounded like they were taking advantage of an elderly woman. He agreed to look into it, and then he did nothing. Horrible company. Do not give them your business.

I have a maintenance contract with them...they came and checked my plumbing. Found that Two of the toilets needed a flapper and valve. I asked the cost and was told $432.75 EACH!!! I said what??? I am ashamed I've used them this long! I called and ask to speak to the owner. No one has had the decency to call me back. I will find every webpage I can to let people know how unethical they are. I am disgusted!!
BE WARNED! ( btw flapper and valve? Maybe $20)

VERY dishonest.
I called them on a referral from friends. Needed a pilot light lit. They charged my friends $45 for the 10 minutes to do that, told me their minimum charge is $200.
Needless to say, I not so nicely suggested they get out of my house quickly.

NEVER AGAIN!! They came out and installed our hot water heater in 2010 and it went out yesterday (4/21/15). It had a 6 year warranty which was still in effect. They wanted to charge us $1400 to replace it even though it was still under warranty. After my husband called, more than a little irate, they then lowered the price to $1199. By this time we had located another plumber so we told them no thanks. Before they left, they once again lowered the price to $800. So it was obvious they were trying to rip us off from the beginning. I feel sorry for the techs that work for him, I'm sure he has a hard time keeping qualified help with those kind of ethics.
