From the my first call, when AL answered the phone vs 3 other plumbers I called where I had to leave a voicemail and actually still haven't heard back, I received very professional, prompt, and friendly service.
I was also impressed about the care he took as my home had new floors installed and he was super careful and cleaned up thoroughly following the install of my new water heater! I called Al yesterday morning after our Home Warranty suggested repair person refused to come out and we didn't have any air conditioning. Al told me he could be to our house within 4 hours and kept me updated on his arrival. He diagnosed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes and his rates were completely reasonable. While at our house he also noticed something we needed to fix on our hot water heater and we have it on the schedule with him over the next couple of weeks. He was very friendly and professional. Will definitely call him again.

Worst and most uncomfortable experience with a repair company in my life. Al was unfathomably cocky, unprofessional and insisted on calling me ""kiddo."" He was called for a simple replacement of a kitchen sink sprayer, spent 2 hours ""diagnosing"" and apparently walking through Home Depot, fixed the problem temporarily with a rubber stopper and bragged till he was blue in the face about how wonderful he was and how he went the extra mile because he could have convinced me to buy an entire new faucet. He spoke to me in a manner that was extremely uncomfortable but I was willing to let it all pass . . . and then he showed me the bill and explained how much more I would owe when he had to come back to put the new part in. Needless to say, Al will never be stepping foot inside this house again.

Al can be a nice guy and he was there for me in a time of need but I referred him to my Mother to install a new HVAC system and he TOTALLY ripped her off. This is the case of you get what you pay for. Al's price was tough to beat but he left ducts hanging, installed a return duct in the middle of a room incorrectly, and left his trailer in her driveway for 3-4 MONTHS - yes 3-4 MONTHS!!! Please save yourself from the headache we went through and use a reputable company.

I don't write reviews often, however I had such a positive experience with Al that I wanted to make sure to thank him properly.

Full version:
I tried to change out my old mercury thermostat to a newer digital one that my brother in law had offered me after he had had his whole system replaced. After several videos and guides, and several hours messing with wires I got the thermostat hooked up, however it wouldn't seem to kick anything on. Discouraged I none the less called it a night and resolved to call someone for help the next day. After a chilly morning I googled local heating repair and found Al's number, I called, left him a message, and was surprised to have Al himself call me back within half an hour. He agreed to stop by after completing another job he was on, and after a few hours he rang up to let me know he was on the way. He introduced himself, took a look at the thermostat, and told me what the problem was, I needed a two heat stage thermostat, and my brother in law had given me a single heat stage thermostat. I thanked him, and he told me to call again if I had any trouble installing. He didn't charge me for this first visit, as it had only taken him a few minutes of his time. I purchased a new thermostat, approved for heat pump with two stages of heating, and followed the installation guide, only to find out that the new unit wasn't even getting power. I tried every trouble shooting guide I could find, and nothing worked. Frustrated and tired, I called Al again, and left another message. He called back later that night and agreed to come back in the morning to look it over. He arrived promptly, rewired the thermostat, discovered that I had blown a fuse that I didn't know existed, showed me what he was doing the whole way through, got the system up and running, and stuck around to make sure each stage of the system was working properly. His pricing seemed fair, he was honest and straightforward, and he came out twice in two days on extremely short notice. I will be calling Al's with any problems in the future, and happily recommend him.

Al installed our HVAC system before we bought the house so when we found the ducts sweating badly we called him. He bragged about knowing the house and his good reviews in a very cocky manner. He rescheduled twice then dropped off the face of the earth. The reason? He screwed up the original install and never responded to any of our calls or texts. It took a real company to come out and install two returns, something that's necessary on every floor and something he did do. I wish I could give 0 stars, I really do. If you look at the bad reviews it's all the same story, he disappears. Unprofessional and incompetent.

After having a horrible experience with a very well known huge company, we'll call them Orange, to get my furnace working, I called Al to see if he could come out before I had to speak with the Orange again. He came right out to my house, and in 10 minutes did what Orange failed to do in two hours. He got the furnace to fire up and ordered the small $50 part I needed. It was a relief. Orange wanted to charge me $950 to replace a part that wasn't even the problem.

Al even offered to bring over some space heaters and blanket to keep my kids warm until the replacement part (on backorder) arrives next week. Total cost of the job was $700 LESS than the competition. I can not recommend him HIGHER. He is amazing. We would have been out a lot of money without his help and generosity. I will not go anywhere else for my heating and plumbing needs again.

Hire him for your next job, don't buy into the expensive advertisements and big orange trucks... Al will do a better job for a whole lot less.
