Al is very good at fixes and repairs. I will continue to call him when a problem at home comes up, and happily refer him. My only complaint is that he did some shelf installation and he didn't patch up some of his work. It's not visible unless you intentionally look under the shelf, so it's not a big deal. But all in all, he's reliable and can usually come the day-of.

I called Al based on the great reviews. He had difficulty committing to a confirmed appt time for one reason or another, and at one point didn't even bother calling me back to say he wasn't coming. I only found out after I called him for being late. After many attempts to have him come in, he didn't want to inspect the damage at all and just gave me a quote over the phone without seeing it in person.

I had a plumbing emergency early this morning and because of the Yelp reviews I called Al. He was over at my apartment in 2 hours flat and quoted me a very reasonable rate. Is it weird to say that I can't wait for the next thing in my piece of crap apartment to break, just so I can use his handyman services again?? I will use Al again and again, he is a Westside GEM!

Al is a real find. He was there on time while we were over an hour late getting to our house due to heavy traffic. We were lucky he was still there waiting for us. He did some painting and several small jobs around the house. His price was reasonable and his service was great. We paid an arm and a leg for a plumber to come fix a leaky faucet a month earlier. I wish we would've called Al then!

He's a good guy. We're going to use him again and highly recommend him.

Found Al on Yelp and all the great ratings hold true. He's prompt (was early), professional, respectful, and tells you what you need and what you don't. I had a sliding door that was stuck. He told me that the door was still in good condition and there was a wheel mechanism that needed to be replaced that may be hard to find. Then, he outlined the stores that he was going to check, told me to go about my day, and ended up finding it at the first store he and his partner went to. The door is now fixed and in great sliding condition. The price was really fair and I'd hire him for other jobs in a second. He also gave some advice about other things needed around my apt. It was really tough to find someone to work on small things and I'm glad that he was reviewed on Yelp.

Al came to my house yesterday and was awesome!!!! I highly recommend him. I've been looking for a handyman who's reliable that I can call at a moments notice and now I've finally found one.

He fixed the sink in my bathroom, the windows in my kitchen and a lock on one of my doors. He was courteous and quick.

Because of all the great ratings on Yelp, I called Al to work on several jobs on my house. He showed up on time to go through the jobs, one of which was to fix a roll-out cabinet in my kitchen. He took the cabinet, and then disappeared for two weeks. He finally left a note on my door to call him. I did, twice, before he called me back to say he was ready to come back and put the cabinet in. He set the appointment for today at 8. It is now 9:30 and he just called to say he wanted to come at noon. Not cool. I'm beyond annoyed now, and will find another person to finish the job.

We LOVE Al and Luis! They did an absolutely incredible job on our apt. and they were here working all week and his prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. They are responsive, great to work with, show up when they say they will and do an excellent job when they arrive. Also, they can really do whatever you need-- painting, plumbing, electrical, whatever it may be. We honestly love them and would call them at the drop of the hat ANYTIME.

Al answered the phone the first time I called and made time on a Sunday to solve a problem with my sprinker system. He was courteous, responsible, knowledgeable, a good communicator and charged a reasonable price. Then he solved another mystery plumbing problem that no one could resolve for a couple of years! I've dealt with many home services folks. He's tops.
