I am in Delray Beach FL. I have used Al's Boca Plumbing for several years with no issues. So when i needed a new valve installed i called Al {John Williams"""" to repair it, I gave him a $400 check on January 2nd and he told me he had to order the part. every week he gave me another reason that he could not come he was in a few big jobs. Then he stopped answering the calls. it is February 17th and I told him to refund the money and I have someone else to do the repair. I have given him every chance to say he can't do it, but no phone calls or texts. Time to report him to the DBPR. Don't trust this guy.

another disappointing experience with this so-called plumber. It's amazing he can even stay in business the way he treats his customers. I recommend that you use someone who actually cares about his customers. Shameful and he is shameless and uncaring.

I always like to do a quick review and a long one with more details. Quick version: Al is great. he does good work for a good price and doesn't take the easy or lazy way on a job. He offers competitive rates, ESPECIALLY given that he offers a GUARANTEE that he will come back to perform maintenance annually AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. See pics to show his work on our water heater. He even called a few days later to make sure everything was ok. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. TLDR version I met Al outside of Lowe's when he was fighting to get a, I guess, 125 lb water heater into his van all by himself. As a firm believer in common decency (unfortunately an oxymoron in these modern times) and the""""karma credit club,"""" I offered to help him. All I did is hold a cart still but it was the help Al needed to get the tank onto his vehicle easily. Before I walked away he said """"Take a picture of my shirt. That's my business name and phone number. Call me if you ever need a plumber."""" Well, jump forward a few months and our water heater conked out on us. I spent THREE DAYS trying to get a plumber out to do the job. I guess anyone with a pulse has more business than they know what to do with bc many vendors were unreliable and or unresponsive. They did not care that we have kids and need to be able to take showers. It was so frustrating!! This is when I remembered Al. I called him up and long story short, within 24 hours, we had a new water heater installed. Al's prices were reasonable, especially given that he replaced EVERYTHING except for the pan (there is/was nothing wrong with it) and the electrical connection (bc that should be done by an electrician, and again it was fine) and he offers an annual maintenance flush (annually maintained water heater will live 2x as long) for NO ADDITIONAL COST. He also works CLEANLY. I am so sick of cleaning up after construction vendors!!! I have remodeled many homes back in my native CA and this is far from the 1st time I have had to replace a water heater. Plumbers can be lazy and or cheap and not replace things like pipes or hot/cold connections. Not only do they get in and out faster but they also can create a job for them to do down the line if the connection(s) gets corroded or lose. Al replace these for me and I did not specifically ask him to do so. Definitely recommend him for your next plumbing issue and or project.

I was having an issue with hot water. Long story short, he miss diagnosed the problem. I paid him in full, with the expectation he would come back and fix the problem. He went radio silent, and he's not return phone calls, nor texts. I would not use him whatsoever.

Caveat Emptor(Buyer Beware). Al' Boca Plumbing, John Williams, was a disaster. We paid him the full amount & he failed to provide us with a paid statement of his work, return & correct the continuing problems & defects with the work he did although he promised to do so. Additionally, he avoided returning calls until I called from a different number & then gave excuses for his lack of response & promised to call & set up an appointment on a date certain & again failed to call back. SEE OTHERS REVIEWS WHERE HE DID THE SAME. DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT TO SUFFER THE SAME CONSEQUENCES.

About three years ago I had a water heater installed by Al's Boca Plumbing. Since my experience with the company was very good, when I needed a kitchen faucet installed I didn't hesitate to call the company again. I spoke to John Williams of Al's Boca plumbing yesterday and he arrived today to install the faucet. He also replaced the valves in the cabinet to the faucet, the dish washer and the refrigerator as they were leaking. I found his work to be professional and reasonably priced. In the future I would not hesitate to call again if the need arises. I highly recommend using Al's Boca plumbing's services.

This man totally took advantage of the situation. Gouged me pricewise pipes cut in the wrong place no receipts stood me up over a half a dozen times. Never returned despite constant calls and messages. promised information to work with insurance and never provided it. If I could give -4 stars I would never use this man. I needed a second plumber to fix all his mistakes

In August 2020, a plumber from this company came and did some work in my house, Including making a repair to a leaky faucet. I discovered later in the day that the faucet was still leaking. When I called, the plumber said he needed to get a different cartridge. 7 weeks later, I am still waiting. I've called probably 10 times. Each time I am told the plumber isn't feeling well or is understaffed, and that he will call me back, which he never does. I am resigned to the fact that I will need to call a different plumber to get this fixed.

I needed a new water heater. The water pressure in my house was very low. Al came and he quoted his price. I thought it was fair. We hired him and he came back the next day to do the job. I needed him to come back because I wanted the water to be set hotter. He came back the next day with no problem. Al was very nice and I would definitely use him again. Susan S
