I live out of state and manage several rental properties. Upon receiving a tenant report of a water leak in the lawn, I located & called Alpine South Plumbing. Although I made it very clear on multiple occasions that I was out of state, I received call after call from a secretary on Joe's behalf asking me to come by to meet them at the house for the latest problem they discovered (or fabricated). They reportedly fixed the lawn water leak. I received an invoice for $485, paid immediately and was then told I had a slab leak to repair that's going to cost an additional $1,450+ to fix. Again, the secretary called on behalf of Joe, connected me to Joe, and then Joe invited my out-of-state self once again to come by so I could see what his crews 'discovered.' Against my better judgement, I gave the go-ahead to fix the alleged slab leak. Days after repairing the 'slab leak,' Joe told me not to pay the additional $1,450+ slab leak invoice as he indicated he would take another look at the amount to see if a portion of the invoice could be adjusted. About a week later, I receive another tenant report of a water leak in the lawn - same area as before! As Joe voiced to me his frustrations about his inability to hire & keep good people in one of the several conversations I had with he & his staff, I decided to find a new plumber to actually fix the lawn water leak this time. I located a new plumber who reported to the home very quickly and charged $425 to install a convenient shutoff valve & fix the same lawn water leak that I'd already paid Alpine $485 to fix. At this point, the lawn water leak is fixed by another plumber and I've yet to receive an adjusted invoice from Joe & Alpine for the 'slab leak.' On around 9/25, I get a phone call from a new secretary on behalf of Joe, I get connected to Joe, and I learn that Joe's secretary apparently walked off the job. I communicated to Joe that I had to hire another plumber to properly fix the lawn water leak his company was paid to fix. Joe said I should've called him back to fix the problem, but I'd already had a tenant put-out for several days during his company's failed attempts to fix the lawn leak. At any rate, no consideration is given and the new invoice for the slab leak repair is ready in the amount of $1,400. An adjusted invoice is finally received via email @ 6 PM on Saturday 9/26 that indicated I had until 9/30 to pay the invoice. Recognizing that I had until 9/30 to pay the invoice, it was not on the top of my to-do list over the weekend or on a busy Monday at work. While in business meetings on Monday, 9/28 - guess what...I miss a call from Joe and his secretary who leave a message regarding nonpayment of an adjusted $1,400 invoice with a 9/30 due date. After wrapping up meetings, I finally make it home to my family on a Monday evening only to get an email from the company """"C.E.O."""" threatening to file a lien on my property for failing to respond or pay an invoice that wasn't even due yet! Below is an excerpt of the ridiculous email I received from """"C.E.O."""" Victoria DiPaolo: """"Monday I will make it a point to file the lien (a draft lien was attached). Joe called you again today and you did not answer your phone. At the very least I will accomplish bringing you to Orlando for court or at least cost you the funds for an attorney."""" Without a doubt, my Alpine Plumbing experience was a disaster that lacked professionalism and quality work. Joe and Vickie...fear not as your first invoice ($485) for the lawn water leak was paid on the day of service. Your competition was paid $425 days later for the same fix, and the $1,400 slab leak charge has now been paid 2 days before the due date. With 20+ family properties in the Central Florida area, this is the first, last, and only business you'll ever see from our family. For anyone that may wonder...I'm a very busy person who seldom leaves feedback (once every couple of years). This exercise of feedback is solely intended to save you and your family from the same negative experience our family experienced with Alpine Plumbing. My lawn water leak that should've cost only $425 to repair cost me $2,310. Lesson learned...I won't use Alpine again.

Terrible plumbing service. They came to our house 3 times and then lied about the problem they found after the plumber cussed me out! Never again!
