I appreciate that they called me the day before to confirm the time of day; and their driver called when he was on the way. Larry, the septic technician, was polite and friendly and cracked several jokes. When he got to the house he confirmed the location of the tank and told me he would come to the front door when he was done. He finished and put everything back as it was. He then came to the front door explained what he had done and how my septic system looked. He gave me some literature on septic system maintenance as well as a sheet explaining what he had done and the condition of my system.

POOR BUSINESS!! KEEP AWAY!!!! BANDITS!!! SCAMMERS!! call *** 907-376-7448 *** SHAMROCK, they did a great job, cheaper and in a timely fashion!!!! THREE WEEKS WAITING, SEVERAL PHONES CALLS, PERSONAL VISIT, spoke to FIVE PEOPLE.....ONLY TO GET JERKED AROUND!!!I had used this service before, no problem... this time the driver lied about his visit!! Inaccurate details and said there was a danger, but none really existed. I politely spoke to the owner Tom personally, he said we were a ""poor fit""? He was afraid his worker would slip and fall on the ice.(EXCUSE!). Imagine finding ice in Alaska in late November? My kids play in the area safely as well as my cars using the access without any issue that needed access so I guess kids are more capable than a service worker? The driver came at the end of the day and did not want to haul out the hose, made an excuse, went home early!!!! Tom said it needed to be sanded, guess who sands also? Alpine.....!

I was a customer of Alpine's, not a disgruntled employee, and I too was charged more than what I was originally told. I had backwash charges applied to my invoice and charged to my credit card before they ever discussed the situation with me. In fact, I had to call them myself to inquire upon noticing the overcharge. I was very adamant in telling them a few times to please call me if there are ANY issues. Yet, nobody called. I had an appointment scheduled for three weeks and they couldn't even give me an actual appointment time so that I could make sure I was there. Instead they called me the day before and insisted they needed to reschedule my appointment. I refused to reschedule as I had made my appointment three weeks back. They said they would get it taken care of but still couldn't give me an appointment time. Then when they overcharge me they say, ""Well, you should have been there.."" and that I'm basically SOL. What kind of customer service is that?? They said I was told about potential backwash charges but I had called around the valley getting quotes and I took very good notes. Backwash charges were not discussed with me by anyone! My main complaint is that they placed unauthorized charges on my credit card for a higher amount than I was aware of and they did so without even the courtesy of a phone call. They should be ashamed as I would call this dishonest business practice. In the end they completely refused to work with me in resolving our disagreement and Tom, the owner, hung up on me.

Very dishonest, agreeing with the plumber I called first that I need them to unclog a kitchen drain. Also tried to tell me my tank needs replaced because it was put in in 1978. I let her know I just bought the house and the inspection shows that the tank is just a few years old. When I hung up I called another plumber another and they had the work done in less than 15 minutes just a clog in the kitchen sink.

Alpine has been our septic service provider for many years. They are always prompt and professional. They were especially helpful this past winter when water was backing up into our laundry room. The tech Larry did a great job . Arlene, the office manager is always very helpful and goes above and beyond to help us out. Highly recommend!

Unbelievably poor customer service; not sure who they have on their lines taking emergency calls, but the woman was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We will not be requiring their services ever again.
