We needed a new hot water heater, called around for quotes and ultimately selected Alpine. There are price gougers in this business, but, Alpine is not one of them. They are very fair & competitive on price. They are also very good at what they do.

Bob is a local guy running this business that serves the mountain community. He is exactly what you want to find in a plumber; smart, professional and knowledgable. He is very responsive and although his company is very busy, he found time to get us a new hot water heater installed on short notice.

I have a number of other plumbing projects to address in the future and I will definitely be calling Alpine.

Our water heater went out on a Saturday. Bob came out Assessed the damage and was able to drive down the hill and get us a new one and install it Monday morning. Would Definitely recommend Alpine. And the pricing was reasonable compared to other plumbers in Arrowhead.

Initially Bob Nolan was responsive and came out to address a water heater that was not functioning. He indicated that the igniter was no longer working for the pilot light and he lit it manually. He explained that condensation from the gas line had extinguish the pilot light. I asked if the light should be expected to go out again and if what he had done was a temporary Band-Aid To a larger problem. He assured me that this was unlikely to occur in the near future again since it had not gone out in the five years that we have owned this home. Other than this problem he assured me and my hot water heater was in good order. I would've had him continue to troubleshoot and provide a fix or suggest and install a replacement had he indicated otherwise. Five days later my hot water heater does not work and Bob is indicating that he is not responsible and that my hot water needs to be replaced. He charged me $189 for the half hour of his time and could not provide an invoice.

Bob did substantial re-plumbing work on my house several years ago. To this day, we are still fixing his work. We have had to hire licensed plumbers to replace work he did and it has cost us thousands of dollars. He takes shortcuts, puts in incorrect parts that later break down. Very sloppy work and we feel he is dishonest.

Hired this guy because he was referred by his neighbor. He is rude, but also a mediocre plumber. He was to relocate two toilets and while doing it he installed a PVC coupling in the middle of a wall - rather than at the top or bottom of the wall - so it now can't be drywalled properly. I am now having another plumber come back to redo his work. He over-charged for his time and some of his work needs to be redone. He is very disrespectful and needs to learn a bit about customer relations.

My water heater was leaking called Alpine Plumbing up and they installed a new one in less then a day very nice employee's. I called several other plumbers Alpine had the best price and the best warranty. I will call them for all my plumbing needs. They even told me how to maintain and double the life of the hot water heater.

My friend called this company to come out and fix a leaking pipe for his property. Bob the owner came out and apparently fixed the plumbing pipe but a month later it started leaking again. When we called back to Bob to come out and fix the crappy job that he did the owner told us to call someone else. Biggest idiot on this planet. Just absolute horrible service. Everyone save yourself the headache and don't call these people.

This company did some plumbing work on a leaking pipe in our property and not a month later it started leaking again. When my son called the owner Bob to come out and redo the work he told us to go get another plumber! To come fix the work that he was supposed to do!! This is unacceptable and we are going to see to it that this company stops all operations and doesn't screw over anyone else in Lake Arrowhead .

Owner Bob is the biggest moron on this planet and doesn't know anything about plumbing. Basically is you pay this swines to do work your just going to have to call someone else to clean up his mess. He apparently fixed a pipe in my house and not a month later it started leaking again. When I called him to come and fix it, this baboon tells me to get another plumber. He will obviously be reported to the proper agencies from me to have his license revoked by the state of California, and if he's operating without a license even worse for him. Big mistake Alpine Plumbing.

I called Alpine to get a second opinion on a job. I just needed to get a simple quote on parts. I asked Bob if he could assist and he told me it would take two people and cost $150 dollars an hour to take parts out to get part numbers. I knew this was incorrect information based on the fact that the last plumber did it by himself, and did not need to cut out pipes and take parts. Just for the simple fact that I asked questions I was told rudely ""I don't care what the other guy did!"" and then was hung up on.

Rude and disrespectful are the right words to describe the customer service. Non-existent works too.
