My water heater broke down and started leaking. I couldn't turn the valve to shut the water off - it was too tight to turn or stuck. I had messaged several water heater repair companies on Yelp and Alpha Star was one of them. I was in meetings all afternoon so would not be able to get home until after 6:30 and asked if they could come then. He said yes. Made sure I was home by 6:30. Around 7:30, he called to say he was finishing up another job and would come right after. At about 8:45 he said he had to gas up his truck but that was the last stop and he would be on his way. Around 10pm or so he still wasn't here. I called and texted and now there was no response. Because the water was leaking and it was now close to 11pm I had to call a 24 hour plumbing service to come help me and pay through the nose for the late night service call. Had Alpha Star Plumbing just said they couldn't make it or just not committed to an appointment in the first place, I would have sought another service and maybe not have had to pay so much to have someone come out. I really don't understand how they can run a business like this. They had multiple opportunities to cancel but instead kept stringing me along until they decided they weren't coming and then didn't answer any text or voicemails. Totally unprofessional. The company I ended up calling at 11pm at night showed up in 20 minutes and was able to help me. They ended up getting my business and will get my future business as well.

It's your lucky day! You found your forever Plumber, Carlos is the real deal. A true professional., long story short, I put in a new tankless water heater and ran into some issues with it. Carlos came out didn't try to upsell me into another water heater brand he went into immediate, troubleshooting and trying to fix the issue. Like a true Plumber should. Carlos worked the issue relentlessly until it was fixed. He even called the manufacture on my behalf. I also had Carlos put in a new water pressure valve pictures included. Like I said, count yourself lucky today you found your forever Plumber!

Great professional plumbing service at very competitive rates! At our commercial properties , he cleared out our storm drain, installed a new hose bib and valve that required copper pipe welding, and changed a toilet. This plumber is honest and is quick to respond to all matters. He will make an accurate assessment of what you need and won't try to overcharge you for extra unnecessary services. He is very thorough in making sure a job is done right and to your highest satisfaction.

Alpha Star Plumbing checks all the boxes!

The last thing I expected was my water main pipe to rupture in the early morning. The water company reviewed the damage and determined I was responsible for fixing the leak. Right away, I sent out an APB on Yelp and Carlos at Alpha Star responded instantly.

Carlos is knowledgeable, personable, reliable, and multifaceted. I could tell right away that he loves the work that he does by his energy. These are the people you want to hire.

He showed up to my house within 30 mins of the APB post on Yelp. All other companies took well over two hours to respond. Carlos assessed the pipe rupture and gave a fair, honest and affordable price for repairs. All other companies estimated 3 to 4 times more, without visiting in person.

He repaired the leak and even went further by reinforcing the pipe because his experience told him where weak points in the pipe were, underground.

Even my neighbors were walking over to inquire him for work. Overall, I am very satisfied with his performance and intend to hire him for future plumbing (and/or electrical, yes he does that too!) jobs. He will also be my go to for recommendations to family and friends.
