Do not Give them money until complete!! They will steal from you. John promises results and never delivers. He will use your money for other projects and not finish yours, until some other sucker pays him. Its unfortunate that the space needs quality contractors so bad that one like this can continue doing business.

We hired Alpha Contracting & Remodeling to finish out the inside of our outside ktichen. Let me begin by saying, John (the owner) does really good work (when he's the one who is doing the job). However, the MAIN issue we had with John and his company was the serious lack of communication. We never knew when they were coming out to do the job site or what they were going to do next. We always had to contact them if we wanted to find anything out.

The second issue we had with them was how long it took to do this job. We were told in the beginning, it would take 2 - 3 weeks to do it. Instead, it took almost 2 MONTHS. Granted, the job he had with us was small compared to the other (big) job he had going on at the same time. It felt like the other job was his main concern and that made us feel unimportant and unappreciated.

All in all, we would not hire Alpha Remodeling and Contracting again. There are other companies out there who has excellent communication skills and will make YOU, their customer, feel important, regardless of how big or small your project is.

Hired this guy, John DeVos, as a sub-contractor. All emotion aside, begged him for months to finish job.

He would not show up for days on end.

Never did as finish far as I'm concerned. Never did as finish far as home owner concerned. Never did as far as contract states.

Numerous problems he wouldn't even come out to look at.

Said not his fault.

Over drawn on contract amounts.

Said "Never call me again"

Enough said?
