I'm a long-time customer. Alpha has done numerous jobs for me...most went well enough. But they sold me and installed a junky gas fireplace that's been a pain from day one...keeps going out; won't start; thin, near-invisible flame, etc. Now it's quit again. I've been calling since last week to see if Tom or ANYONE could stop by for about 5 minutes and get it started...have 25 people coming for Thanksgiving and sure would like a cozy fire! Forget that--Alpha won't even return my phone calls. So much for customer loyalty and service. VERY disappointed--they used to be a nice, professional group of guys. Now have to look elsewhere...sad.

Alpha did all the plumbing for our new house in 2008. They installed the condensing tankless water heater with a 3"" flue when the manual clearly states the unit requires 4"" flue and it has never worked. This water heater also heats the house. Several other items were done improperly around the house. Alpha will never return a call!

Two years ago I would have written a strongly positive review. We bought a house built in 1997 and Alpha Plumbing installed it.....they did annual service calls for the former owners and for us until this year.......10 phone calls went unanswered, as was a letter. The word on the street is that they have decided they can make more money by installing new units for new houses.... and that they are not interested in servicing anything they've installed. That's my conclusion, so if you don't care whether there is any follow-up service, consider them.... otherwise you had better look elsewhere.

We built a new house and Alpha was responsible for the complete plumbing and heating installation. They put together a fantastic in-floor heating system, efficient boiler, water heater, etc. They also did our well hookup and installed a much needed water softener. Great team at Alpha and they took the time to explain how everything worked - it was quite an education.

We moved to Salida in April this year and we have undertaken a major remodeling project. For all our plumbing and gas requirements we have used Alpha Plumbing. Over the four months of the project they have been consistently outstanding! Their workmanship is first class and they also arrive when they say they are going to and to be able to rely upon that has certainly eased some of the pressures. We also inadvertently caused a leak that could have been disastrous but they responded to the emergency call incredibly quickly and resolved the problem. I strongly recommend their services.

Alpha installed a high end condensing boiler and tank-less hot water heater at my house. Did not install the manufactures gas to propane conversion kit which resulted in the boilers violent failure and major repair costs. Conversion kit was found in bag that contained the operations manual left on site. In addition installed the water filter backwards and did not filter the make up water to the unit nor hot water heated. Alpha has not returned any phone calls.
