We purchased a faulty water heater from Lowe's. Lowe's gave us three plumbers to contact. We contact Alpha Omega multiple times with no return phone call. I finally had Frank answer the phone. He asked me to send him a text with our address. I sent two texts and received no response. We contact the third plumber that Lowe's recommended, SPS Plumbing and had someone come promptly and fix the issue. I do NOT recommend Alpha Omega Plumbing.

Alpha Omega Plumbing provides good service.

My water heater's burner had problem, so AO Smith's customer service sent me a new one and requested me to contact this approved service provider to replace my old burner with the new one.

The owner of Alpha Omega Plumbing, Frank, came to my house on the same day I called, and finished replacing within 15 minutes. Frank was professional and provided good service. I appreciate his work.

Frank and his team are professional, extremely knowledgeable and does amazing work. I should've called Frank and Alpha Omega plumbing from the very beginning. Why? Because a previous plumber who tried to install a water heater for me, flooded my condo when it was done incorrectly. I endured 3 long months of headache and pain. It was very overwhelming. I then had another company install my water heater however, I later found out it was only done 90% correctly because error message lights would keep coming on the control panel of my new water heater. This is not normal and for a while after a very unsettled mind and lot of phone calls, no one could tell me why.

When I called Frank, he inspected, tested and determined (with his engineer) that the reason could be the pan. The pan was sealed tightly at the bottom not allowing combustion airflow during venting. The previous plumber also didn't install the drain pipe at the pan which made the pan 'useless.'

For serious jobs like water heater for homes, I highly recommend Frank and his team. Trust me. They know what they are doing, what is compliant, and most of all - what is SAFE and to city code. He is friendly and respectable.

Flood accidents are devastating - I don't wish that on anyone. Please trust only the best for jobs like this in your home. I can't thank Frank and his team enough for course-correcting my water heater issues. I feel like I'm slowly returning back to a normal life.

My husband and I bought a home about a year ago, and we immediately noticed that there was hot water coming out of the cold taps in the master bathroom. We had Frank the plumber from Alpha Omega come out, and he was flummoxed. He simply can't find the cause. So a new a water heater was installed and I am still having this issue. Were periodically getting warm water coming through the faucets when only the cold water is turned on. I've read about cross connections, we I've determined that's not the case. In fact, we have determined that hot water is coming out of the water heater the wrong way, up the cold pipe, thus warming up the cold water. The expansion tank was installed on the cold side.
When this happens, if I leave the water on long enough then it will get cold again, but it takes a while and I don't want to waste all that water. Frank suggested not even putting it in, I think because he didn't have exactly what he needed. I think he would have had to move the shutoff valve on the cold side and my guess is he didn't want to do that either. He was saying something about not knowing it was 1/2"" pipe, so I don't think he had a lot of 1/2"". So Frank checked the cartridges for each of our single handle faucets and showers, but none of those is the culprit. He crawled under the house and determined that there isn't a plumbing issue - the cold water is cold under the house and the piping doesn't seem to be the issue. He is now proposing to cut holes in our walls to determine if any of the showers has a failed mixing valve. At this point I did not want Frank in my house anymore as I did feel safe or comfortable around him and I did not trust anything he was saying to me and did not my bathrooms destroyed. To close this service call I offered to pay off his services. Frank wanted me to pay him in cash for a discount but I refused because I need a receipt from him which had numerous misspelling.
I called O.C McDonald the pumping engineer said to check the water temperature at the closet faucet to the water heater and turn it down if it is 140 degrees or more. Hot water does a natural migration into the cold water piping by the water heater and the hotter it is the more pronounced it is. My water heater temp was at 150 degrees this problem was solved with just one call to OC. McDonald.
I missed the number one rule in hiring a plumping service I did not get references. Word of mouth from friends and neighbors is the best way. Ask anyone you hire about the company address and profile. Inquire about insurance (in case of injury, or damage to your or others' property), and about professional affiliations and accreditation.
Thanks for your time readers.

My water heater was shooting blue flames out the gas vent. Whirlpool gave me Alpha Omega's number. Called and Frank just happened to be in my neighborhood. Came by within 5 minutes and replaced my burner unit and flushed my tank. Thank you Frank!

Thanks to Frank and his assistant Amy for fixing my hot water heater!

My 2-year-old AOSmith hot water heater broke and Alpha and Omega was on a list of approved contractors. Like the other Yelper, I do not recommend AOSmith (hot water heaters should last 10+ years), but I was happy with my experience with Alpha Omega.

I called Tuesday around noon to schedule an appointment for Thursday morning. Frank was able to confirm my appointment right away, unlike other plumbing companies who asked for 24 hours to respond (!?).

Frank and Amy came on time within the time frame that gave me (9-10AM) and fixed my hot water heater within half an hour. They even showed me how to drain my hot water heater, which you are supposed to every year (but my previous plumber did not tell me!). I am so grateful to have hot water again and I just shampooed my hair!

Frank did an excellent job of handling my no hot water issue with a 4 year old A.O. Smith water heater. He replaced the control panel which stopped functioning on New Year's Day. The work was completed quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. I have had my A.O. Smith water heater for just 4 years. Two years ago, a plumber had to replace my Burner as it became defective. This happened on Christmas Eve 2014. The day after my Control Unit was replaced by Frank, the A.O. Smith red flashing light came on showing that the burner went defective again. Frank quickly responded to this issue and got everything fixed in short order. I recommend Frank at Alpha Omega Plumbing but I would stay far away from an A.O. Smith water heaters based on my negative experience.
