Frank (the owner) was very difficult to work with. His work was quick and seemed great but he was never there and was hard to contact unless he needed money. I don't even know what he did because he did not explain it and complained about EVERYTHING (When he was actually around). Other contractors had zero respect for him and even his guys bad mouthed him the whole time. He did not return phone calls and he does not back his work. I recently left 2 detailed messages for him to call me back and even called one of his guys and nobody returned my phone call. Still have not heard from him..... He should not hear from you either if you are getting work done. There are plenty of OTHER qualified plumbers in San Jose.

Great experience! The cost was exactly what they quoted, they came within a few hours, and completed the job in less than an hour. Very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company.

I could not be more pleased with Frank. He came within 15 minutes of me calling him - fortunately, he was not in the middle of another job. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he was fun to talk to and very personable. He explained the issue I was having and what needed to be done before taking any action, which I more than appreciated as I did not want to pay for a service that was not necessary. His price was very reasonable. In fact, his quote was less expensive by far than the other plumbers I contacted. I will definitely contact Frank again if I have plumbing issues in the future. Overall, great guy, great service, and I could not recommend him more.

Frank had worked on our whole house 6 years ago.
I had small problem come up, I called him he showed as promised and took care of it .
I highly recommenced this company
Very Pleasant to work with Frank.

These guys are great. I find my water heater puking in my garage. I call fast water heaters ""oops"" they come out with the wrong water heater even with the serial number I gave them. I called a couple other folks they can't help. Finally I called frank. He not only had the part. Chris stayed on after hrs to do the job. Guys this means alot they could've been by the book but instead they stayed bailed me out,and they were cheaper that ""slow"" water heaters thanks fraank, and chris

Had an issue with my AO smith water heater for a year plus now.
Had always been putting it off..... I could not ignite the pilot when it went off...though I could see the spark .....(it would go off very rarely)
Finally called Frank afgter getting Alhpa's name from AO Smith.
He came in and checked if there were any issues....apparently I was not trying enough...had to try atleast 5 to 10 times...to get it on and I was not doing so....
He showed me how to do it and charged reasonably.
Would definately recommend him and call him again if needed.
Thanks Frank !!

SO...what started out as a fun project in the garage..putting up new shelves and bike racks, turned into a compete disaster! We drilled a hole right into our hot water pipe.
The good news is, after researching online for a plumber, I came across Alpha Omega Plumbing and after turning off all the water in our house, I called them.
Frank, the owner answered the phone and after explaining what we had done, he gave us an excellent price quote and was at my house within 30 minutes.
Not only was Frank super friendly, he works quickly and did a fabulous job. Within 40 minutes after he arrived, everything was fixed and the price was great. Other plumbers quoted us almost twice as much.
I highly recommend Alpha Omega plumbing if you are looking for an honest, hard working plumber. We will use his services in the near future when we are ready to replace our water heater.
Thank you Frank!

I had to change my leaking A.O. Smith water heater after 5 years. Luckily it was still under warranty. However, i had to use a certified technical as approved on A.O. Smith's website. I came across Alpha Omega Plumbing and decided to give Frank a call. Frank was friendly and gave me a labor cost to replace the heater, which I thought was reasonable, probably in the mid-range. Not the cheapest out there but I did not have much to shop around. I was also informed that CA changed a law 3 years ago that only low nox heater are allowed and legal. Therefore I had to pay for an upgrade which Frank indicated is $150.00. I thought that was a good price to pay for another 6 more years of warranty.
We set an appointment two days later and Frank showed up right on time, which was very helpful. He had another servicemen with him who did the job quickly. I thought they were professional. However, when they were about done with the job, Frank informed me he had to replace a valve because the old one was faulty. He did not show me the old valve and I had no idea whether they were the one to break it or it was already broken. Then he gave me the total quote which was $50 more than what I calculated based on the upgraded cost, labor cost, and valve replacement cost. I asked Frank where did the extra $50 came about and he said the upgraded heater cost $200, not $150. I wished he would have informed me earlier on the change in upgrade price and not throw me a surprise right when I'm writing the check. I did not want to dispute the cost and paid him the extra $50. So all in all, I'm happy with the work and punctuality they have shown, but disappointed in the less-than-upfront communication on any extra cost from what I was quoted on the phone.
3/27/2012 - Customer service and professionalism is what it is all about in this line of industry. Frank did the right thing by contacting me personally to ensure that I am 100% satisfied with the services that he had provided and if not, he wants to make things right. I give him credit for taking the initiative as not every business owner takes effort to do what is right for their customers. Frank honestly thought he had informed me that it may cost $200 and did not realize that caught me by surprise. He was willing to refund me $50 and which he promptly said he will do so by sending me a check today. I did not doubt that the upgrade did cost $200, not $150, but my feedback was that I was not given a heads up earlier. I think it was a legitimate reason that this was a misunderstanding. Frank also explained about the defective lever and since he did not keep the broken one with him, he was unable to show me the problem, but he did explain that he should have been more clear but didn't know that I had questions about that since I did not bring it up, so I agree that was another misunderstanding. All in all, I think Frank and his colleague deserves a 5 star for being professional, punctual, effective, and willing to step it up to make things right. Kudos to that!

I tried this guy, because he was recommended. I asked him to fix my faucet.
First of all, he was supposed to come in between 1 to 3 and finally showed up at 4:30 - 1.5 hours late!
Then, after taking apart my faucet, he couldn't properly put it back together any more. There was a 1/4 inch gap there, which was NOT there before.
He seriously tried telling me, that it was like that before. Really? I would have seen that. Anyways, I didn't give in and asked him to fix it and luckily after 5-10 minutes the handle slipped in as it should (and always used to be).
He didn't really seem to know what he was doing and seemed to think I was someone he could tell anything, sorry no!
Hands off!

Got our water heater replaced by Frank at Alpha Omega also. We're the neighbor across from James that got his water heater replaced recently. I was going to replace it myself but after seeing the great job that Frank did, I decided to go with him as well. I also got two other estimates to replace my heater just as comparison. Frank's estimate was by far the lowest and the installation was excellent.
We're very happy with the new heater, the installation, and the cost.
