Gave me pretty reasonable quote for a very messy situation at a rental property. It was an older home with cast iron pipe that had corroded away and caused a sewage spill underneath the house. Right away they said it would cost more because the problem was much worse than when they first looked. I said ok. Then there was another issue that they said could be corrected properly, but will be a separate project. A that point my cost had almost doubled.

In the end, the job was completed satisfactorily, but the second part was essentially put back almost like it was before because the scope required too much excavation. I still paid way too much for it all.

I think these guys probably do just fine on smaller jobs, just be prepared to say no when they say they're going to have charge more. I feel somewhat responsible for the cost overrun by allowing them to finish the job. On the upside, they were both honest and professional to deal with, just very expensive.

Called Michael the owner at AP and D and he had someone out to my house in 24 Hours. The plumber Mike cans today and fixed all 3 drains in less than an hour. He arrived early. Was super friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this affordable plumbing service.

My husband found Aloha Plumbing on Craigslist, called them and spoke to Mike, the owner. I was happy that at least he returned my husband's initial call where as the other businesses we called, did not. Mike sent over one of his technicians also named Mike the next morning. Mike was professional and friendly and did a great job unclogging whatever it was that was clogging up our drains. I'm happy that the toilets are now flushing and the wash and bathtub isn't backing up with water anymore. I'd call them again, but hopefully won't have to for a long time. If you need plumbing services, I'd definitely call Aloha Plumbing.

I had a drain clog that needed clearing, stat! They were able to come out the next day. If they can't clear the clog, there is no charge. I felt good about hiring them for the job knowing that it'd get done, and if it didn't, I wouldn't be left with a charge and an unfinished job. They're available to come after business hours too for no additional charge. I'm very satisfied with the service provided.

The estimated amount to complete the service was the fairest quote out of 3 estimates I received. As a small business owner I like to support other local small businesses. Initially I went through home Depot big mistake!
(Don't ever go through Home Depot)

The owner of Aloha was willing to send a person out that night I called! Super nice most places will not.
We needed some work on our toilet not anything big just a wax ring and the plate mount then install our new toilet!!
Our service with Lyu and over all experience with Aloha was fantastic.
In and out fast, they clean up and explain what is going on!
I highly recommend them. Great service is a very hard to find.
Don't take my word for it , try them out your self!

After an attempt by a big name branded plumbing company to scam me (can see my other reviews), I found Aloha by doing a basic search in the San Diego area. Needless to say, the job was completed the same day and at a reasonable price with no additional nonsense. The technician Paul was both friendly and knowledgeable as well.
I will use Aloha again.

Oh boy! I hate dealing with plumbing issues. Toilet was acting up and not draining properly. I called Aloha and they sent Michael and he augured the toilet and got it to flush right. 69 bucks... not great but not bad either it's a competitive price and his attitude was professional.

Ack! two days later the problem came back so I called and they sent Paul to see what he could do. Paul also augured the toilet but he and I weren't happy with the flush something wasn't right. Hes told me the normal price was 266 to pull the toilet and snake the drain and then reset the toilet. But I had already paid 69 dollars so subtract that from the 266 and all I would have to pay now was 197 dollars. I researched it and indeed that is the going competitive rate for that service. When Paul left another gentleman with a good professional attitude the toilet was draining properly. However Paul did warn me he thought that perhaps something was hinkey with the toilet probably crusty build up or something. I should think about getting another one.

Everything worked fine for another two days until it started acting up again. Argchhhhhh! I went out and bought a new toilet at Home Depot and replaced it myself. Took a hammer to the old one looking for the crusty pipes and low and behold what did I find? A shower curtain ring! I can't blame Michael, Paul or Aloha for my bad luck it was clear plastic and made of a material that wouldn't break by the auger. Caught in one of the curves of the toilet.... I blame my wife!

Anyway Aloha responded to my texts and calls promptly and IMHO didn't try and gouge me. They were professional and courteous and their prices as far as I can tell are competitive with the market.

If you need a plumber go ahead and give them a call. I would again if I needed them. :-)
