I called them to unclog a bad clog in my kitchen sink caused by overloading my disposal. Food and water were going down the disposal and coming up the other sink.
I called them first thing in the morning and had two guys arrive at the house by noon. A bit of a mixup meant that the snake he had wasn't long enough and he had to come back 45 mins later with a longer one. They were professional, cordial, and got to work.
It was not a 5-star rating because I think $225 was steep for the amount of time it took. I would use them again though.

We had a major issue with water pressure and it turned out that the main water service pipe needed to be replaced, from the house to the Buffalo Box in the city pavement. Jesse and Pat from Almighty Rooter were able to have the work completed in a timely matter. They completed the work relatively quickly despite the requirements of obtaining a Chicago city permit and a city inspector approval, and despite the timing of the holiday season. The job was completed wonderfully, we have awesome water pressure now, and all of the faucets and fixtures in our house now work perfectly! Thank you guys!!

If I could give no stars I would. They charged an absurd amount of money for a gas leak they did NOT fix and when I called back and informed them the gas company wouldn't turn the gas back on because there was still a leak they told me they couldn't come back for two days because their gas plumber called in sick. Last time I checked we lived in a gigantic, thriving city with millions of people and they only have ONE plumber?!
Do yourself a favor and do NOT use these people! Scam!

I had a kitchen sink where water was coming up through the drain on both sides of the sink. I learned that it was an issue with the building's plumbing and not my sink. Because of a clog in the system, whenever someone in my building used their kitchen sink or dishwasher, it would filter up through my sink.
The property manager called Almighty Rooter Sewer and Plumbing to come out and fix the problem. The serviceman, Mike, came out and looked at the sink and then the building's plumbing. With a couple of knocks on the pipes, literally, he pinpointed the problem in 5 minutes. He opened the valve to the clogged pipe, flushed the system and then cleaned out the pipe. I was impressed at a) how quickly he found the problem and b) how fast he fixed it.
He not only fixed the clog, but also looked into the bigger problem of what might have been contributing to it. In doing so, he found a problem with the condo's drainage system for all the grease in the building and explained everything.
Mike did a great job, was friendly and explained everything throughout the service call.

The owners son came out to fix subpump problem. There still is a problem 3 years and 3 trips from this guy and he still can't fix it.

Gave me a fair price, a little below other estimates, showed up when promised, cleaned up after themselves more that I expected, honored a discount coupon from their web page. I highly recommend them and will use them again. I had a catch basin cleaned and my main sewer pipes hydro-jetted.

Person who answers the phone is unprofessional and clueless. Gas Company determined gas to oven was leaking. Technician calls and I describe the gas issue with the oven as described to me by Gas Company. Technician comes to the house and he's a plumber who says they don't have anyone at the company that does that type of work anymore, which is listed on website. Wasted the whole morning of my time, my property management's time, his company's time and his own time - and tenant is sitting with gas shut off! Terrible!

The plumber came to the house to see the jobs and did not follow up at all. He said he would return with an estimate; never came. He did not answer the phone after several calls. When I called the office, the number was disconnected. Complete waste of time

I want give them o star If I could do that. Two day ago,The Almighty Rooter Inc. two guys came to my house, they use camera to look at the sewer's problem which without rodding and cleaning. I only can see the water and black screen from their computer. I have to paid $150 to see nothing. Also, they told me that if I want to fix the problem have to paid $2800 to change the 4 feet pipe. However, I don't have that much money to pay for that.
Next day, I call another company to come to my house, they rod the sewer and clean all the root within 30 minutes, I only paid for $120 to fix all the problem.
My goodness, there huge different, why the Almighty Rooter Inc. two guys told me paid for $2800 fix the sewer, but I only paid $120 can do that??? Honesty is the best policy.

Not trustworthy... The plumber didn't make it to our appointment and lied to the office that he tried calling me all morning. I didn't receive a single call.
8 minutes before the appointed time was over, he called and said he was ready to come by. I asked him if he tried calling me earlier, and he said no.
I called Almighty to let them know he told them one story and me another, and she said ""He's my field supervisor. He wouldn't lie to me."" - implying I would.
I wanted a plumber, not this run-around!!!
