Great customer service and great work! AVP was recommended to me by another well known contractor in the Almaden Valley. These guys are a family owned business and are very friendly. My water heater was leaking badly and Mike, his son Michael and another worker Jeff were able to come out within hours of my call. They replaced my water heater and all the pipes for $200 less than the quote I got from Sears! I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends & neighbors!! Thanks AVP!

It's a little bothering to me that they don't answer their own phones. There is no office manager to speak with or anyone I can speak with directly to ask questions. They have a 24 hour answering service that sends pages to the Owner... not the kind of company I want to work with.

After searching for a plumber Mike came and agreed to do the work for certain amount. Mike at the last minute cancelled the work.

I felt that was unprofessional. I was able to find someone good to the work for the same amount and neatly to say they did a good job.

We have had two experiences with Alamaden Valley Plumbing and they have both been great. Based on our experiences, I would not hesitate to recommend them. They did a HWH install for us and helped fix issues with our washer/dryer connection. We found them to be prompt and professional. I am puzzled by the other reviews -- sounds like a completely different company than what we've experienced.

Mike and his team are very knowledgeable. Not only did they fix my original issue, they brought an item to my attention that, if not corrected, would have ended up costing me a LOT more. But it wasn't an ""upsell"" thing. The plumber, while under my house, took pictures on his phone to show me the damage. That way it wasn't just his word.

I will be using Almaden Valley Plubming again and will recommend them to all my friends in the area. Thanks!

We recently used Almaden Plumbing to repair a running toilet. They originally diagnosed the flapper as the problem. After it was replaced the problem persisted. The owner Mike did a great job of following up and coming up with the root cause, a worn out gasket. He ordered the part and came back out to install it a couple weeks later. They did not charge us for the second call or part. Mike called a couple times to give us the status of the part on order and let us know when it would be in. I definitely recommend them and would leverage them for my plumbing needs again.

Water heater started leaking yesterday, read the reviews of these guys on here and decided that most of these have nothing much to do with the work. So I called them, got a call back within 5 mins! Talked to owner Mike, he quoted me an out the door price and we scheduled the next morning to replace my dead unit.
Jeff came out next morning on time, with the new unit ready to go. Talked for a couple minutes and he went to work. 2.5 hours later I had a new heater. Jeff cleaned up after himself, gave me instructions and answered all my questions. Both mike and jeff were nice to work with and I had none of the problems referred to here by some of the other people. I like supporting small local business and would use them again with out hesitation.

I don't know what the problems are supposed to be with Almaden Valley Plumbing. I have used their services several time over the last 5 years (the latest was last week) and Mr Brewer does phenomenal work. He is prompt, on time and solves problems that I don't even want to know about in a timely fashion. Five years ago, he and his people came on an emergency basis during a major kitchen remodel, kept me from a huge disaster and this time fixed a long time problem that another contractor said required a shower wall to be removed and the shower tile totally replaced.

I can't recommend him highly enough. He is great.

I had a leaking pipe and had to shut the water off. Mike was round within an hour of calling and fixed the problem promptly and for a very reasonable price (about one tenth of my other quote!)

Mike was very professional and friendly and will not hesitate to call him again if I need a plumber.
