June25, 2024 (Lynne Johnson, San Jose). I HIGHLY recommend Mike Brewer, Excellent, Professional, Prompt, knows what he's doing. I won't contact anyone other than MIKE or his sons. This was my first experience with MIKE. He came to my home in an emergency - kitchen sink faucet broke and I had water everywhere. Long Story. MIKE repaired my kitchen sink; a broken toilet handle and a broken bathroom sink faucet - all in a short amount of time and VERY reasonable. I called 35 other plumbers and no one responded. I saw Mike's truck (& phone number) as I was driving to Home Depot and called him. He returned my call immediately - on a Sunday. MIKE has everything he needs in his truck(s) - no wasting time running from one hardware store to the other. He has EVERYTHING and knows exactly what to do. He takes care of business. I had been told by other plumbers - my kitchen sink faucets and bathroom sink faucet had to be completely removed as the plumbing problems were behind the tile. None of this was true and Mike fixed all the problems immediately. MIKE BREWER is who you want. I'm more than Extremely Happy. MIKE is knowledgeable & highly experienced about any sort of plumbing needs.

I called Almaden Valley Pluming about a leaking shower on a Monday morning, a bit after 8AM. Mike returned my call immediately. His son showed up a few hours later with the required parts, did the repair.
Time is now 1:30PM

Everything went like greased lightening, to use an old saying.
The charge was reasonable.
We couldn't be more pleased.

Jared and the AVP team did a great job responding to an 11pm emergency call because our water softener broke and we had no water in the house. Jared helped walk me through the steps to get water into the house so we could make it through the night. Then the next day they came over and gave us a diagnosis. We had them replace our unit with a newer one and the job was done in a day. There were some minor issues that happened after they left but Jared came back and fixed it free of charge. Would recommend them!

Less than stellar, $300 per hour service provider in the Valley.
Installed whole house water filtration system in our garage at substantial cost
When I had to change the Carbon filter element, I discovered that the o-ring was oversize (not furnished with the new filter housing) and had actually been puttied (not recommended) into the slot, making it very difficult to replace.
I had to drive to 3 locations to secure a replacement o-ring.

Very impressed with the cost - the workmanship & quality was lacking!

My faucet was leaking (more like flooding) and Mike diagnosed it over the phone. The hose extension was shot and I needed another faucet. When it arrived Mike's son came out and installed it on that same day (if you've ever been without a kitchen faucet you'll what a lifesaver that was). Thank you!
