Almaden Valley Plumbing does excellent professional work, and Mike and his crew are nice people to work with. I had a leaky toilet, a clogged drain, and a failing recirculation pump. Mike fixed all three problems quickly in one visit. When a follow-up adjustment was needed, he made a second visit at no charge. Nobody likes to have plumbing problems, but if you do, Mike is the man to see.

Our water heater decided to give up the ghost a couple of days ago. We woke to no hot water on Tuesday morning, and water was in the water heater pan. Those are signs that the unit needs to be replaced.

The first business that I called, which was from the water heater stickers that arrive in the mail from time to time, couldn't get someone to our place until Thursday at the earliest. I then remembered that Almaden Valley Plumbing is only a couple blocks from us, so I gave them a call shortly after 8AM this morning. I spoke with Mike, and while he wasn't sure whether he could send someone over today, he was able to send Brenden in the afternoon. He arrived on time, and within approximately two hours we were back in business again, hot water-wise.

I should have called AVP in the first place. We are very happy with the work, the time it took to complete, and that they were able to take care of this on the same day that I called.

We had Almaden Valley Plumbing come to our home we just purchased to do some work. We had a leak under our home that needed attention ASAP, and a few other items we needed assistance with. Mike and his team were very responsive and came out to give a quote very quickly. Mike was able to help replace the shower valve and also stop a leak we had in our shower as well.

Mike was also very patient with me and came back to look at my shower and help with additional parts needed to help make our shower workable, without replacing it.

Brenden did a great job replacing our faucet and air gap in the kitchen and he also took the old faucet with him. Eric was also very friendly and did a good job fixing the leak under the house.

In all we are very pleased to have Almaden Valley as our plumbers, they're very familiar with the homes in this area. It's good to have plumbers in the area that do great work.

I just had a repair to the connection between the water company meter and my house PVC line. Yes, WooHoo!. Brendan did a superb job. It was minimally invasive, professionally performed, and completed in a reasonable time frame...around an hour+. Excellent work at a fair price.

I'll start by saying that Mike, the owner came highly recommended to me by a good friend. In speaking with Mike he did appear experienced and familiar with my particular problem. Unfortunately, things went down hill quickly.
I made an appointment with Mike, he was to call that morning to give me an arrival time update. Never called. I called him, seemed to have forgotten we had an appointment, but then recalled it. Said he be over between 10 and noon. Never showed. I called at 1:00, said he was running behind and would be another 20 minutes. Never showed, I called again, said he'd be on his way in 10 or 15 minutes. This puts me late for another appointment I had.
Asked Mike, since I was now running behind, could please stop quickly and evaluate the problem so he could order his parts and reschedule the repair for another day.
His answer was ""I don't do that - I don't do anything for free.""
So, he pretty much wasted my whole day. And although he was just minutes away from my home, refused to stop by and help me out. No matter how good a plumber he might be, he has no real regard our sense of responsibility to his customers.
There's plenty of other good plumbers out there, I wouldn't use this one.

Brenden was very fast and very professional and honest. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it the same day. This was a bit of an emergency because it was a leak so our main water was cut off.

We were able to restore water to the home within 24 hours and we were treated very honorably and fairly by a skilled plumber. A really good guy, thank you and good service, very COVID safe with mask and everything.

Almaden Valley Plumbing is by far the most dependable, responsive and thorough plumber I've ever worked with. Over the last eight or so years, Mike and his team have replaced both toilets, cleared drains, installed a garbage disposal, replaced faucets, and the job which helps him remember me instantly, a hot water heater down steep steps in a half basement.

I've had the HWH die, and he squeezed me in to his schedule so he could fix it, because nobody should be without hot water (his words). This guy has integrity and a heart of gold. Eric and Brendon showed up today wearing masks and wore them the whole time without being asked. I told them I have cats (hiding) so please keep the door closed. Which they did, every single time. They work all out, quickly, cleanly and get the job done faster. I don't have enough praise to heap on these guys.

If you're looking for someone to do something for $20, he's probably not your guy, but his prices are very fair.

My shower value wouldn't shut off after using it and I was finally able to get down to a trickle. I called Mike at Almaden Valley Plumbing and left a message as to what my plight was. I didn't want to shut off the water supply and was worried. Mike called me later in the day and we scheduled a convenient time that worked for me. Brenden showed up 10 minutes early and went to work right away. I wasn't sure if they would even have the shower value on hand as it wasn't a common one. Thankfully Brenden had one and was able to change it out. I also had him look at another plumbing issue with a lavatory John that wouldn't flush right. He knew what the problem was and he scrapped out a large amount of calcium build up and "" Viola!"" It was brand new again.
Can't say enough about their work ethic and the level of services provided in my time of need.

Mike and his sons make a great team. They were respectful, hard working, and reasonably priced. Mike is very responsive and is a strait shooter. He is honest and real with you. I really enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to anyone. It's always nice to find a contractor you can trust.
