Gino was great when he came out to provide the bid, and James D. did a great job working on a bunch of little problems throughout our 1942 house. We also got a couple of new toilets installed which are a welcome addition. And he was so fast, friendly, courteous -- a terrific technician -- and he left everything cleaner than the way he found it. Did I mention ""fast""? He's like a blur -- even when dealing with some of the surprise (and not in a good way) issues that often come with an older home. My only observation re Ally is not about him or Gino, but about the people doing the scheduling: He was late in getting here to do the job because we were given an arrival window that was IMPOSSIBLE to achieve, considering we were his fourth job of the day. (Note to the folks scheduling your technicians: driving from Des Moines to Bitter Lake in the late afternoon is...um...not generally a speedy proposition.) But we're thrilled to have all this work done. It was a stop-gap until we can do a big remodel, but it'll really help us get to that point. So happy to have our laundry list of issues addressed!

Awesome bunch of guys - did a great job installing my sink and faucet - very detailed in the removal of the old sink as not to damage the countertop and perfect fit up for the new sink and faucet - have not had any issues since and I couldn't be happier. They came out really fast and kept in good communications. The job took quite a bit longer than they had planned but didn't charge me any overtime. They gave me a quote over the phone and without knowing the full scope up front, they kept their word and the final bill was pretty close to the estimate. I've got a few more projects on the horizon and will be using them again. Highly recommended!!

This company wants to make sure you get great service and works to earn your repeat business. The original guy they sent a month ago overcharged for a quick rushed job in fixing the front outdoor faucet while also leaving my rear outdoor faucet (which he said may require fixing from the inside to which I declined to fix) in a worse state after diagnosing it. Not to mention, he had a disgusting habit of spitting everywhere.

Upon hearing this, the owner reached out to see what she could do to make this right and make sure we were happy. She sent two different guys out to check the rear faucet (the original guy was new and is no longer around). They were very courteous and professional and explained all the options that were available including the possibility of needing to fix it from the inside. I felt comfortable letting these guys handle that awful possibility knowing they'd be careful about it and so we went ahead with the fix. Luckily, they managed to get everything done from the outside!!

I like to ask lots of questions so I understand what's going on and to learn at the same time. Many contractors do not like that for one reason or another - perhaps they don't want to be bothered, perhaps they think they're being questioned about their choices... But it's great when I get guys that don't mind taking the time to share their knowledge with the customer. That what these guys did as well.

I would definitely use them in the future for all my plumbing needs!

My experience with Ally plumbing was AWESOME! Gino was prompt and super efficient. He assessed our issue (leaking from exterior faucets) quickly and let me know that depending upon the hardware it was going to be an easy or a more complex, more expensive fix. I really appreciated having a heads up about the potential complexities ahead of time. He explained what he was doing, why we ran into the problem, and how to avoid those issues in the future. I really appreciated his taking the time to help me understand a little more about the plumbing in our house and how to avoid complications. He has a real gift for explaining things in ways that isn't condescending (as has been the case with many other professionals we've had work on our house). We will definitely be calling Ally Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs - and requesting Gino, specifically. I'd highly recommend them!

Setting up an appointment was easy and I loved getting a call + text when they were on their way. Gino was great, very nice and quick! He explained the problems and even gave us some tips to help avoid the issue in the future. I will use Ally again and would recommend to friends.

Ally was very quick to respond to a query that we posted on Porch.com for help with a clogged drain. James was out to our home within two days and stayed late to fix our problem. He was excellent to work with and very professional. James left our bathroom spic and span after needing to open up a couple of different access panels to get the work done. We were very pleased with his great attitude and efficient work. The only reason for not giving all 5 stars was that Ally was late relative to our original time window, though they called to apologize and were very courteous about the error.

Very fast to set up an appointment and had times available within my window! I hate having to take time off of work for repair calls, so I was really happy they had availability after 4pm.

I'm sad to say I forgot the name of the person they sent over but he was wonderful, talked me through my problem and explained the solution. He even provided me tips and feedback to consider going forward.

I felt comfort in the knowledge he provided me and trusted the results.
Everything has been working since!

Carl came out to provide an estimate for installation of a double check valve. Carl was very knowledgeable and honest and he informed me that with our faucet, we actually didn't need one. The verbal price Carl said it would probably cost was 1/3 the price a separate plumbing company quoted me who was not honest about the fact that we didn't actually need one (not to mention it was very obvious they were trying to rip me off) . I will definitely call Ally plumbing for any of our future plumbing needs because of their professionalism and honesty.

Dexter was very pleasant and professional to work with. He quoted an affordable price for installing my water/ice machine for my fridge. I did not trust myself doing this on my own since it involved drilling, replacing parts, and going under the crawlspace to connect the water line from my fridge to sink. I'm really glad I chose Ally Plumbing for my plumbing needs, because they're an efficient, honest, friendly, and reasonably priced service. I would do business again with them in the future.

I called Ally because I needed someone to replace my old junky toilet with a newer water saving one. James and Gino were very pleasant and friendly and seemed to have a great rapport with eachother. They were able to work completely in sync-automatically splitting up the various tasks so they could do the job as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. (It probably also helped that they are both trained and experienced plumbers so they already knew every little thing that needed to be done). Also, after removing my old toilet, James noticed that the wall behind was dirty and cleaned it even though that part of the wall is blocked by the toilet tank and can't be seen but I guess that's what is called ""attention to detail."" Finally, they not only hauled away my old toilet but they also took the box and packaging it came in, all without my having to ask (I'm not even sure when they managed to sneak the box out). I'm am very happy with the service they provided.
