Ally Plumbing was quick to coordinate some fixes on my toilet and garbage disposal between my landlord and me. I'm sure it wasn't the most convenient having my landlord contact them first to process payment and then dealing with me to schedule a time, but they fit me in on the day I requested and showed up within the time frame they promised. They were also super quick with fixing everything. Oh and super polite - they took off their shoes without me asking and were very friendly.

The one downside is that the garbage disposal ended up leaking again when I used it after they left. However, I called Ally and they sent the technician right back within an hour of my call. He seemed sincerely apologetic and fixed it quickly. It's been working great since (it ended up just needing an extra dose of sealant where they put it in, not a faulty product)! I'd definitely use them again. Thanks for your great service!

Gino and Chriss dropped by gave me an easy estimate, cleared my drain and were absolutely professional. Got ballparks for further renovations and advice. Even dropped off a can of drain cleaner. These guys solved my problem efficiently and politely. I got plumbers for life. Thanks again guys.

I called in the morning and they were at my home by early afternoon.
They were courteous, professional, and knew exactly how to tackle the problem.
Everything was fixed up in about 30-minutes. Great job gents!

Hmm... as experienced by another reviewer, these guys are tough to get with. I reached out to them based on their great reviews and their very close proximity to me in West Seattle (thinking I'd be quick and easy for them to get to).

My Yelp inquiry went unanswered for a couple days, even though the site suggests that they typically respond in 1hr. After a couple days, I called in and had what I'd describe as a bit of a cold fish response. Without asking anything at all about what I needed and the possible urgency (like a geyser of spraying toilet water), I was immediately and brusquely asked where I'm located. They let me know the soonest they could come out was one a week and that would be for an estimate only. I replied that what I needed was probably only a couple of hours of work and wouldn't really require an estimate (creating need for 2 visits). Response; all work they do must be estimated first, regardless how small the job is and they are busy. I declined the week out, estimate only appt and posted a 2 star review with below conclusion;

If you;

1) can't afford to wait a week or two
2) don't want to sacrifice more than one vacation day to wait at home for multiple appointments
3) prefer polite phone interactions where you get a chance to mention the reason for your call

you may want to look elsewhere.

Update: On seeing my review, Ally called me back, apologized for the brusque phone conversation etc and wanted a chance to earn back my business. They offered some available appointment times in the next couple of days and came out to estimate. Definitely their desire to show good customer service came through loud and clear. All of my interactions from that point forward were super polite and helpful.

Was the issue resolved? Kinda... situation was, I have a 10yr old small / short water tank that was only getting me about 5 mins of warm water for a shower. I had bought an instant hot water tank that I wanted to replace it with and I'd had the electrical work done to support it. Now, I needed the copper plumbing to be extended about 3ft so that the new system didn't have to be hidden behind the dishwasher where the current one lives. I was pretty shocked to find out that 3ft extension (not including actual installation which I was planning to do on my own) was going to cost around $1300. As Gino discussed the plan and likely cost with me, he suggested that the current tank should be getting me more than 5 mins of warm water. He replaced both thermostats on it for $260 and cranked the temp way up. I now get scalding hot water from the hot tap and my showers, as a result, last about 10mins. There's no way to really know if the improvement is related to the new thermostats or if the same result might have been achieved by cranking up the temp. It's not a permanent solution for me but I'm much cleaner now. ;-)

I haven't attempted to get any further quotes on extending the copper plumbing so I can't speak to pricing.

But I can say, they truly want to make their customers happy and that does go a long way. I give a 3 star 'A-OK' rating... that's 4 stars for service but I'm still a bit 'Meh' on the final solution.

Excellent company. Called in the morning and actually had Dexter come out that evening - he was even early - called me of course to confirm early was ok. Price was right and now I have peace and mind about my kitchen faucet. He did great work and made sure there were no leaks and my dishwasher was ok. Would highly recommend!

Really happy with the work that Nick and Chris did installing our new bathtub. They ran into a number of issues along the way but handled it professionally. They stayed til around 7PM the first day to make sure they get as far as they could so that the job could be finished on the second day. I don't know too many folks in this business that's willing to stay that late and ensure the job completes correctly and on time. Very courteous guys that are easy to speak with as well.

Unfortunately coordination with the office was a bit bumpy. Number of miscommunication that had to be worked out along the way. At the same time I'm really happy with the owner personally getting involved on a number of conversations with me to make sure things get resolved.

Gino came to my house for a plumbing problem. He was very punctual. He is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Came in, fixed my problem, and even gave me tips of how to prevent or fix this problem in the future. I will definitely call him in the future for any other plumbing situations.

Came out within 90 minutes of calling them for an estimate which was great that they came so quickly. After describing and showing the problem to plumber who showed up he told me how much it would be. Very reasonably priced, very knowledge and professional and did the job correct the first time!! I'll be using this company from now on for any plumbing needs as well as recommending them!!
