I have used all thrive for three years, including this year. The first year they left a faucet open and flooded my entire backyard when Irrigation came on in the spring. So last year and this year I walked around with them and double checked the faucets to make sure they were all closed. I also wanted him to walk with me to the main irrigation valve to make sure it was shut off so that my lines were completely drained. This took him some extra time with me and he charged me three times the amount of his normal service telling me basically that he spent too much time with me and that their allotted time is only 15 minutes per house.
It's a sad thing when someone charges you three times the amount of a normal charge because they had to spend some extra time with you. What is this world coming to? When I complained about the bill and asked why it was so much higher this year, they said basically because they took too much time on my property and they had to walk with me down my easement to the front of the property to find the main shut off valve. Then they added in their email letter that they no longer wanted me as a customer. They also added that they had to wait for me.
He actually had to wait less than five minutes for me to come down the street and he had already started his work. What I want to know is why he thinks his time is more valuable than mine .....as he wanted me to wait an hour window for him to show up as he couldn't give me a more accurate time.
Be careful of a business like this as he only cares about his pocketbook and not the customers he is taking care of.
My business has been the same with them the last three years and for some reason this year it turned out differently. Oddly, when they messed up the first year they didn't reimburse me anything for the flooding and the problems it caused my entire backyard. I give them a terrible rating.
