Very unprofessional . No show or call back for a scheduled appointment . How rude can any business possibly get ? Not even a simple courteous call back . Old people deserve better .

This by far was the worst service company I've ever dealt with. Jerry the service technician was rude, abrasive and smelled badly. Desperate to have our fireplace working properly prior to the holidays I agreed to the quoted price to replace the sensor/igniter at a cost of $280.00 even though they had just replaced the sensor and valve a few years ago. ( Not sure the replacement of the valve was warranted a few years ago because recently we had the same symptoms and only the sensor was replaced) After the work was performed I told Jerry while he was still at my residence that I detected a strong smell of gas. He denied smelling gas so I assumed I was being overly sensitive and that should trust this licensed service professional. After he left I check to make sure the fireplace turned on and off a couple of times and left it off.
A few days later I turned the fireplace on a smelled a very strong odor of gas, called them a couple of days later to express my concern and Anne said she would call me back to make an appointment, she never did. I called back today and she made an appointment for early next week, called me back a few minutes later a said there would be a service charge. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Prior to the service the fireplace worked intermittently without the smell of gas when turned on. I CANNOT USED THE FIREPLACE BECAUSE THE SMELL GAS GAS IS SO STRONG! Beware!!!!Do not use this company, they lack any sense of customer service and have idea how to run a business.

Annie and Jerry are the worst business owners!! They came out to ""fix our fireplace"" to only find out they created a gas smell when you turn on the fireplace. This smell has happened each time we turn it on so we called them back and they want to charge us again! Then proceeded to say it's our fault! Arguing and arguing! They are the WORST!! Don't call them! Call someone else! Who argues with their consumer? Annie and Jerry..... retire! I

After dealing with another company that wanted to charge $800 and constantly screened my calls...I'm thrilled with the service at AllState! I had an emergency situation where I needed AC asap. Once I explained our circumstances, Annie sent Jerry over right away. He was on time, professional, and quick. He fixed the problem and within 30 minutes and was out the door. Their service fee was MUCH more reasonable than the other company- he was honest with me about what needed to be done. I'm thrilled with their service! I will definitely recommend them to my friends/family.

I am new to Yelp and, apparently, I failed to complete this review last August 2015 - here it is now . . . I am giving Allstate a quadruple A+ rating. Referred through a friend just this morning, I contacted Allstate and their technician came out at 11:30 am. The very experienced technician replaced the fan motor and repaired the wire connectors to my 26 year old Rheem air conditioner. He also recharged it AND discovered that my thermostat was intermittently failing so replace that as well - I guess the quilt rack that fell on it a couple of months ago, knocking it off the wall, did some damage after all. On two different occasions, when technicians from another company were here, my son was told the unit was not large enough for my house [I have 1800 sq. ft. and my 3 ton unit can handle 2200 sq. ft. so not true] and I have been told that my unit really was on it's last leg - among other things, that the wires connecting it to the motor were falling apart and that recharging was not necessary (but it was). Both my son and I we're told a new AC unit was needed. Clearly, that does not seem to be the case - the Allstate technician said my unit was of good quality and worth repairing. My bill was 1/10th the cost of a new air conditioner and I got it fixed in 1 day! I highly recommend Allstate Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
Now, here I am 8 months later still as pleased with Allstate as I was back then. This past Monday I realized my AC wasn't working, I called for an appointment and the technician came out the next morning. Again, the repair to the wire that had ""fried"" (I suspect it might have been my fault but I won't go into that) was repaired and I couldn't be happier.

Jerry and Annie are the best. Jerry is extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to resolve problems. Great work every time. We have referred him to friends and they have always been grateful. There prices are very reasonable.

Ok, these positive reviews must be family members! This is the worst company in my opinion. Jerry and his wife Annie are/were tweakers. But the worst is Steven. Not only does he not do a good job, he spends to much time on personal calls. In my opinion they are all liars, and they are rude when you call them on it. They were late, replaced a part that didn't need to be replaced, and lied to me. Made us wait all day for them to come out, only to have to do it all again the next day, because the problem was not fixed. They were unprofessional and inconsiderate in my opinion. They never even said they were sorry for all the things that went wrong. Believe me you can do better, call someone else.

I have used this company several times for my home and for other properties. I have also recommended them to my friends and clients.
Very good work, every time. Very reasonable prices. I have confidence that when they say it's fixed, it is really done. No surprises!
