On April 25th I called around for emergency plumbing services because I had a running shower faucet. So originally I thought it was a simple knob replace because it was leaking. I could never get the water to stop. I finally got in touch with Allstate Plumbing for service, and the lady put me on the list for first thing in the morning. That was good. The problem begins with the actual diagnosis. The technician, Marco Godinez basically looked at it and said the screw was stuck in there, and he will have to go in from the laundry room to fix the problem. So I was like is that it. Then he tells me he can try to fix it, but with the pipes being so old it's no guarantee it will be fix. They also charge me a trip fee of $139.00. So I basically told him I would think about it just didn't seem right. So I go a second opinion, and Daniels Plumbing came out charging me a trip charge of $39.00 and they fix my issue for $632.70 and they didn't have cut into the wall at all. So I called Allstate the same day and complained that your guy didn't provide good service, and requested my $139.00 back. She ensured me that she will talk to the Manager, and call me back in the morning. I also told her that I can provide what Daniels Plumbing did versus what the quote your technician gave. Allstate quoted me a total for $1786.86, JOB ID
19987065. That's crazy. Today is 6/2, and I haven't heard from no one since 4/25 about refunding my $139.00.

Allatate came by and did a thorough job repairing my plumbing after Clarke Kent left a trail of leaks and destruction. They gave clear estimates and came in right on budget. Polite and friendly

Our kitchen sink clogged. Plumber showed up and told me the diagnostic fee was $180. The fee for unclogging the sink was $400. When I inquired why the diagnostic fee was not applied to the labor fee, I was told it had to be over $600. I paid $580 to unclog the sink which took less than 1 hour. Outrageous!

$750.00 to replace two toilet seats and a float valve replacement. fn outrages. The technician went to the local Home Depot for parts, it's 10 minutes away. He came back in over an hour. What was I doing paying his hourly wage, I don't know, for his lunch?
I won't recommend your business to anyone. I feel ripped off!

This place is a rip-off!
I was charged $252 for technician to diagnose low water pressure in 2 bathrooms and b/c he didn't have the parts (aerators) with him he informed me I could buy them from Lowes. Did not fix anything!
They want another $165 to bring parts and replace aerators.

These guys are fantastic! We had a last minute item come up on a walk through and before the buyer would close they needed the t&p valve replaced. I called Naomi around 9 in the am and by 4 that same day we now have a new valve for a good price. They communicated very well and are most responsive. I wish they were in Dallas where I have a remodeling business, I would use them on all my projects.

The technician did an amazing job and was very helpful in educating my family and I on aspect that needed improvement on our outdoor kitchen, such as hardwire installation. I would highly recommend this company.

If I could give no stars, I would. 8 hrs late. Could not find house in central Austin? Problem? Leaky kitchen faucet. Was told need a new sink and faucet, but faucet would solve problem. If they had to purchase faucet it would be $600 to $800. Instead I received a $250 bill for NOTHING and was told if I didn't pay they would put a lean on my house.

Updated: the supervisor called us back and sent the guy back over, and he did a much more thorough job looking forcing leak. He still couldn't find it, so he thinks it's in the slab , and they DON'T deal with slab leaks. So we're still going to have to call another company. So be aware when their website says "leak detection and repair", they don't mean all leaks.

Our water heater was not heating the water. Based on Google reviews, we selected Allstate plumbing even through they charge to give a quote for repair unlike several of Plumbers in the Austin - Cedar Park area who give a quote for free. Was a big mistake!
As the plumbers arrived, I told them that I've already tried to reset the pilot a few times so the gas valve may need replacement. The plumbers who showed up had NO EXPERIENCE WITH BRANDON WHITE WATER HEATERS. They spent 15 mins reading the instructions on how to reset the pilot, which took me (a non-professional) 5 mins looking at a YouTube video (thanks YouTube!). Then they decided to drain the water for some reason that took another 30 mins. At this point, I had to ask them why aren't they able to diagnose what the problem is? Guess what their recommendation was - YOU NEED A NEW WATER HEATER which will cost you $3,200.
They charged me $230 ($65 trip fee + $165 hourly fee) to tell me I need a new water heater!! This company is a COMPETE RIP OFF! BEWARE!
