After reading reviews on here I was worried when AHS assigned them to my case. Justin my technician was friendly and they called me within 20 mins to make the appointment. They arrived on time, in fact dispatch called me to let me know when they would be arriving. Justin was friendly and explained everything to me. My faucet was leaking and Justin seemed to have fixed the problem he explained that the leak was wear and tear and how to fix it if it ever happened again. Pleasantly surprised with the service.

Terrible! This company was assigned to come look at my water heater through American Home Shield. I have yellowish/red water coming out when I run the hot water. The tech came out and said it looked like there was rust in my tank, he offered to drain it but, said it probably wouldn't do much good. He would follow up with the warranty company about replacing the water heater and that in the future I might want to consider a water filtration system. Apparently they reported to AHS that I needed a filtration system and that the city water was dirty and they couldn't do anything about that. I live in a neighborhood that is less than 13 years old and NO ONE has issues with the water in our area. When I called AHS back to complain they sent a follow up request to Allstate Plumbing to come back out but, Allstate refused. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I was assigned this company through Home Shield. After reading the reviews I was scared to death about what kind of monster I was going to be letting into my home. I stayed home from work so that my wife wouldn't have to deal with the crackhead that was going to come into my home.

The guy the showed up was a clean cut, soft spoken, handsome gentleman named Darnell.

He never asked me for money, he went right to work and replaced the fixtures in my tub without any questions. Before he was done, he ran a snake down the tub plumbing just because ""since it is all apart I might as well clean it."" He then cleaned up his mess and asked if there was anything else he could do. When he was done, he said thank you and left.

No fuss, no worry, no problems.

I'm sorry everyone else had problems, but I had no problems at all.

After contacting my home warranty company (AHS), they sent out Darnell who was very professional and courteous. He resolved the issue and provided a thorough explanation. I am pleased with the service.

I would give NEGATIVE stars if possible. I had this company assigned to me through American Home Shield. This was my second claim through AHS. My first got denied due to pre-existing condition - no Freon in my AC. So they send this company to check on the leak from my tub into my ceiling. The guy comes out. Doesn't do anything because they hadn't cut away the ceiling yet. Takes a week to get him back. He comes in the house and asks me if I have a bucket. He's a plumber and doesn't have a bucket? We run the water in the tub. He tells me it's probably the sewage pipe even though it's clearly not leaking. Then he comes upstairs with me and tells me that me that the water in the bathtub was too high- it's been going in the overflow and onto the ceiling. That it was caused by user error. I told him that was ridiculous. The overflow on the bathtub is connected to a pipe that leads down and out of the house. In addition there is a gasket that surrounds it 360 degrees- it has a full seal around the pipe. So I called another plumber, not through the warranty company because I no longer trust the companies they use. He came out, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had me run water in the tub to check the pipes then had me splash water through the overflow cap, the second of which actually resulted in the leak. Then, unlike the lazy plumber from this company, He actually took off the overflow cap- it took about ten seconds to do- and showed me the seal inside of it. That seal was brittle and broken and there was a crack in the tub behind it. He replaced the seal inside of the overflow cap and caulked the crack. It fixed the leak.

If I would've not gotten a second opinion, I would've ended up with another wet ceiling. This company's plumber told me the overflow cap wasn't fixable! He said that the seal around the overflow pipe wasn't 360 degrees, that it had a hole in it, and it was our fault that the ceiling was wet because we filled up the tub too high. I have to say, this was hands down, the worst experience I've ever had in my life with a repair company. He blamed us for using our tub improperly! All he needed to do was replace the seal in the overflow cap and caulk the crack in the tub! This company needs to close down.

Went through American Home Shield and was assigned this company for a hot water heater fix. Got the run around several times regarding a part that needed to be ordered. Called and spoke with Karen, a supervisor, who was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She had a serious attitude problem and refused to give me answers on the break down of communication with their company. I called AHS to reassign my work order. DO NOT DEAL WITH ALLSTATE PLUMBING!

Steer clear of this shady business. They were sent via our warranty company, took one look at our plumbing problem and the guy pretended his company didn't fix ejection pumps. Recalled and was given Reardon Plumbing who was amazing. If you have the opportunity just ask for Reardon.

I dont know if I am more irritated with this company for their untimely service lack of professionalism, poor follow through, insufficient workmanship ohh list could go on or American Home shield for continuing to use this company as their primary contractor despite the consistent poor reviews that clearly show this company is not capable of meeting the customers needs at the least and at times making the situation worse. Leaving 1 star is an overstatement of my satisfaction of this company's service however Yelp doesnt have the option for negative stars.

I could not light my pilot light on my water heater. The plumber lit it for me and said it was no charge. Then the company changed me the $100 service fee. He denied telling me there was no charge. Basically calling me a liar.

These guys are going to kill someone through their negligence one day.

What a joke, these guys are no more plumbers than I am. I would've done a better job, actually. Do not use them, not that you have a choice if you use American Home Shield.

Literally all the guy did was come break my door installing the water heater and then charge almost $400 for some reason (great warranty, AHS!). Fucker didn't fix the door or give a discount for that either.

Just about every aspect of his install failed inspection as well so he just didn't schedule one. The water heater looks like it was dropped when he offloaded it, the bottom is all bent up, and it has completely stopped working. AHS is now recommending that we contact the manufacturer, and we've already been without hot water for over a week...
