After service request through AHS warranty, Tech ""Darnell"" from All State Plumbing arrived on time. He was wearing a mask, but no booties over his shoes. Ultimately, issue I had with our basement Sump Pump was handled.
HOWEVER, we were left with a FLOODED MESS in the basement in a 6x6 ft area. 1) the tech did not unplug the Pump before he started work. 2) To verify the backflow valve, he incorrectly disconnected the Outflow side instead of the Pump side of the backflow valve. 3) Due to #2, the tech had 12+ feet of 2 1/2 inch pipe FULL of WATER with one hand trying to stop the flow into our basement! 4) Then the Sump Pump started to run! YIKES! 5) After he got it all back together, while the tech did use a few old towels I gave him to attempt to mop the water, he didn't offer to clean up anything further! No Wet Vac, nothing.
I AM NOT HAPPY with this!
It took me over an hour to mostly clean things & in doing that, I found out that the bottom 2 inch edge of the basement wall insulation is pretty soaked in an area about 10 to 12 linear feet long.
NOW I AM WORRIED ABOUT MOLD!

The same plumber who analyzed quickly and fixed a leak in my basement, came early (a little before my 11AM-2PM window) and quickly unstopped my garbage disposal and kitchen sink.
Allstate Plumbing was assigned to me thru American Home Shield; I would highly recommend them.

Had the guy out, contracted through Homeshield.
Not only did he NOT do any work, he told us someone else needed to come out, but reported to Homeshield and Allstate that the drain was clear and the job was done.
And he did this like we weren't going to call and find out why someone else hasn't come out because the drain is still clogged.
Really wondering about the integrity of this company and it's employees.

Just like the other reviews, I wish I could give them a ZERO. Unfortunately, I am going to have to contact someone higher such as the BBB because this company is not legit. They were assigned to us via our homeowners insurance to replace a hot water heater. They did. No issues or concerns. HOWEVER, four years later as I am trying to sell the house, the buyers inspection reported there was no permit for the installation of the hot water heater. When I called the company, they told me that because they aren't located in the state of colorado anymore that it was basically my problem and they weren't going to talk to me.

We contacted AHS on a Friday because of a main line sewer backup. Allstate plumbing picked up the ticket immediately and did not come out or answer phones for nearly 4 days. When they finally sent someone it was Darnell who seemed nice at first. Upon explaining a toilet needed to be pulled because of no clean out we forked over $175 extra to access the drain. Having no knowledge of the back up cause we asked if they'd run a camera of which they said they don't have in there company. So they just ran a snake and had no clue if they cleared the drain. Then he asked us to turn on all the water faucets in the house. This caused a flood in the bathroom of dirty sewage. He then asked us for towels to clean it up which we did. The water had seeped into carpet and walls which we'd already mitigated. So here we are elbow deep in piss to help fix a flood that was already dealt with. As Darnell starts to pack up I ask him to document in writing that there was an overflow due to him asking for the water to be turned on. He became extremely defensive and unprofessional. I was very upset and tried to explain the importance of documentation especially since we now have an unresolved situation worse than when he arrived. All I asked was that he sufficiently document what transpired on the call. He made derogatory comments about me to my face to my boyfriend that he was going to have to ""deal with her"". As an upset client, for good reason, without working plumbing I'm left in a very bad situation.

Two-stars...only because the technician that was sent to our home was fast and efficient...for the business side of things look elsewhere.

If I could give this ZERO stars I absolutely would, do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER CALL THESE PEOPLE!! It is now THREE weeks without hot water and these people are blaming our warranty company for the delay. We called them to come take a look at our hot water heater. First, we called on a monday and they couldn't come out to us until Friday, this delay in itself is frustrating to begin with, but to add insult to injury the technician came Friday and ran diagnostics and claimed the hot water heater was fine. My roommate came home to another cold shower in the middle of winter because it was NOT fine. We had to wait until Monday to call YET AGAIN for the SAME incompetent technician to come out the following Wednesday and run the SAME diagnostics and magically end up with a different result. He sent over information to American Shield and left out key information they needed to move forward. We now have to wait over a week for a new water heater to be ordered and come in so that it can be installed. By the time we ACTUALLY get hot water it will be over three weeks and maybe even a month of NO HOT WATER in the freezing cold December in Colorado. I've called and talked to the staff at this place and the woman who answered the phone claimed a woman named ""Karen"" was the supervisor. When i called to speak with Karen I asked if she was the supervisor and she replied that she was not. This staff as an entirety is completely unprofessional and incompetent! Why would she tell me that Karen was the supervisor? This entire situation is HIGHLY unacceptable and as you can see from other reviews, this place is TRASH and a complete waste of time. You may be without cold water for an entire month at any given season and it doesn't seem to bother the staff at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE IDIOTS!

I was assigned this company through American Home Shield. I cancelled an appointment for them to come to the house. They never showed up or called to tell me they weren't coming. I looked at their reviews. I can't believe American Home Shield uses them. I have been paying for American Home Shield for 18 months and this is the first time I've had to call them for service. I wouldn't use this company.

After reading reviews on here I was worried when AHS assigned them to my case. Justin my technician was friendly and they called me within 20 mins to make the appointment. They arrived on time, in fact dispatch called me to let me know when they would be arriving. Justin was friendly and explained everything to me. My faucet was leaking and Justin seemed to have fixed the problem he explained that the leak was wear and tear and how to fix it if it ever happened again. Pleasantly surprised with the service.

Terrible! This company was assigned to come look at my water heater through American Home Shield. I have yellowish/red water coming out when I run the hot water. The tech came out and said it looked like there was rust in my tank, he offered to drain it but, said it probably wouldn't do much good. He would follow up with the warranty company about replacing the water heater and that in the future I might want to consider a water filtration system. Apparently they reported to AHS that I needed a filtration system and that the city water was dirty and they couldn't do anything about that. I live in a neighborhood that is less than 13 years old and NO ONE has issues with the water in our area. When I called AHS back to complain they sent a follow up request to Allstate Plumbing to come back out but, Allstate refused. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!
