I called and asked how much it would be for someone to pit in a pilot valve on my boiler. I already know whats wrong with it. My old one was buzzing and my friend already bought the part, he just hasmt had time yet to install. The wasnted $175 TO WALK IN MY DOOR to look at it. Just to assess the problem they wanted almost $200 and their address is about a mile from my house. Dont walk RUN. I dont care how many good reviews they get. I no lonher believe any of these boiler people reviews.

My building handyman suspected that there could be a leak emanating from under my toilet so I asked Allstate Piping to come fix it. His guys were able to come promptly the next day and diagnosed multiple problems in my bathroom (very old pipes and valves) and gave me a full explanation as well as detailed options for repairs and the price for each. Since the main water shutoff valves in my bathroom were no longer working, they had to come back the following day when the water to the entire building bathroom line could be temporarily shut down. They were able to coordinate with the super and quickly disassemble toilet, sink, and replace all the necessary valves and tubes in a very professional manner. They gave me a complete description of what they found and the repairs they did, and assessed a fair price. I was very happy with the prompt replies to my messages, and the speed with which they could schedule the repairs, in addition to doing the job quickly once they were at the apt. I would hire them again!

They came earlier, which it was a blessing, did the work within fifteen minutes and the problem was solved. We had a burst pipe due to the cold weather. Do not hesitate to use the service of this company.

Great all-around. They quickly replied to my Yelp message, request video of the problem (a faulty tub/shower water diverted) and were at my house within about 12 hours to fix it.

Contacted me 15 min before scheduled arrival time and said he would be 2.5 hours late. Huge inconvenience and very unprofessional. Fixed the leak for $300 (with a mismatched part) left a slight drip then tried to charge me $300 MORE to fix that. Ran the water an hour later to clean the tub (he did not put down a towel to keep the space clean) and there was an additional leak. NOT a happy customer! I definitely wish I'd chosen a different plumber. Please do not waste your money like I did and look elsewhere.

Needed a check valve installed for my sewage main line as well as cover caps replaced. They gave a fair quote for the work. Arrived on time as agreed (15 minutes early actually) and finished the work relatively quick. Answered any questions I had. After they finished up I had a completely separate question about my sump pump which was leaking and Allstate looked at my problem and patched it up real quick for no charge. I was amazed and grateful for their generosity. Overall they were very prompt and professional and I would not hesitate to contact them for future work.

Marinel was an excellent plumber with whom to work. Very professional, fast, easy to schedule with, and very true to his word. The overall experience couldn't have moved more smoothly. I had a water heater die mid-day, and Marinel had the new water heater installed the following morning first thing. Beautiful plumbing work too for the new unit, which was larger than the previous unit and required some reworking of the pipes. Highly recommend!
