I needed to replace a bathroom faucet and also the kitchen faucet - Jimmy suggested a great source for faucets and other plumbing hardware and told me he could easily fix the kitchen faucet w/ replacement parts provided free from the manufacturer. I acquired the parts as instructed and then Jimmy (Allstate) arrived early on the appointed date. All done 2 hours later - perfect craftsmanship ! Excellent experience for me.

Jimmy repaired a faulty valve on our water heater last year. He was very professional and fair with pricing. He returned this year for advice on a new water heater installation as the original was very old. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do the work but Jimmy.

We bought a new home in Stamford and we had several immediate issues that had to be dealt with ASAP. Yup, found Allstate here on Yelp. You gotta read the reviews because there are always ""haters"" but Allstate had none-and for good reason.

Called Jimmy (the owner) up last week, right at the beginning of the Corona Virus ramp up of national concern. Jimmy came by not once but twice to review the list of things we needed done. He was careful and caring not only about our plumbing issues but also the ""new normal"".

He just finished the work today and in record time. No stress, total professionalism. Or as I said to him, he's the ""pro's pro!!""

Jimmy will be coming back when this health emergency lock down is past us all, because after seeing his skill level we have a bigger job we cannot wait for him to tackle.

I cannot say enough nice things about the man, the service and the work.

Jimmy with Allstate is my family's two-time hero! He solved a leaking ceiling and a bungled refrigerator install with minimal time and cost. He was available for both repairs within an hour off my call. He was so knowledgeable and super friendly! We are really happy to know Jimmy and to have a plumber we can trust!

He had to come back after he obtained the unusual parts for my old apparatus. He was not cheap, but I would not go to anyone else after using him once. James was great. He fit us in for what I thought was a big issue. He showed up, diagnosed the issue and was extremely accommodating regarding the fee for his time. It wasn't one of these flat one hour service charges. I would absolutely recommend him and would use him again if we ever have a plumbing issue.

I wanted my domestic hot water heater replaced with a new one I purchased myself. There were many other plumbers who came and went. they were all terrible. They won't show up on time, treat me like an idiot with their questions and they promise to send a quote and never to be heard again or quote me something ridiculous. But Jimmy from Allstate mechanical was fantastic. He showed up on time and gave me honest answers to my questions and offered me alternative solutions that he won't even make a penny out of, and he gave me a quote right then and there which was very reasonable. Then we scheduled a time for the installation. Unfortunately, he got sick severely and he was courteous enough to call me previous day and inform me that he won't be able to make it. I waited for more than a week, he still wasn't well. Then he arranged a friend of his to come and do the install and honor the same price. He promised his friend would do the job just as good as him or even better. I am very satisfied with his friend Norm's skills too and it all got done finally. I will definitely recommend Jimmy to anyone and I will use his service in the future without a doubt. It's hard to find a honest plumbing service around here!

I used Allstate Mechanical to replace my hot water heater recently. I found their name online. The reviews sounded great so decided to give it a try. I called and left a message. Jimmy called me back in 5 minutes and he was able to come to my place right away to inspect the unit. His pricing is very fair and reasonable, compared to the quotes I got from other contractors. Most importantly, he was able to accommodate my schedule and install the new unit the day after. Jimmy and his helper Jeff finished the job quickly and very neat. Jimmy was also very patient in answering all of my questions. Highly recommend!!!
