DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Through my home owners insurance they sent put Allstar. My bathroom smells like a sewer. The tech came out and told me to call the water company. The water company said it was my plumbing. Come to find out that the toilet is cracked and the floor needs to be replaced. I called Allstar and all the female said was she'll talk to the tech. I paid them my deductible and they also got paid by my insurance. Now I have to pay to have it fixed. I reported them to American Home Shield.

On Wednesday, September 20, Allstar Plumbing was dispatched to my home in Canton, GA. They were there to repair a clogged drain, a leaking garbage disposal and a leaking toilet. The only thing they repaired was the toilet. They stated that since the disposal leaked on teh side (a 20 year old disposal) it was not covered under the warranty. They wanted 375.00 to replace the disposal. I instructed them not to repair the disposal. I purchased one for 118.00 at home depot and the problem is fixed. They were to unclog the drain. they did not have the proper equipment to snake the drain and had to leave and come back with a snake. On the invoice they submitted to me for 275.00 to snake the drain, they state they had to snake down 50 feet to get to the clog. They did not open the drain and left the house with the drain still clogged with instructions not to use the toilet, dishwasher, washer or showers. I hired another plumber and they went out an unclogged the line all the way to the street. They did not have to go 50 feet to get to the clog. It was unacceptable that a knowledgeable pumping company went to the address without the proper equipment and had to make two trips to get the equipment that did not work properly. The clog has now been cleared and all is working properly at the residence. I was completely blown away by the estimate that Allstar plumbing submitted to fix the problem. $12,050 is outrageous, to dig up my driveway and front yard to remove roots from the drain that the second plumber did not find. I did not get any relief on that day and it took several more days of inconvenience to get the problems taken care of.

I used All Star to have two faucets installed. The plumber was prompt, courteous, and did a great job, including cleaning up.

Not sure about the other reviews but I had a wonderful experience with the tech that came to my home. He was very professional and friendly. Found my issue and beat the other estimate I had received from another plumbing company days before. They did a phenomenal job and would recommend them to anyone.

Try another company. These guys will partially complete a job and then walk away from it. Phone calls are unanswered or not retuned over the course of several weeks. They will lie to you about submitting paperwork to warranty companies or ordering parts from vendors. Your better bet is another company.

My home warranty company sent out All Star Plumbing to replace a water heater in my home. They came out and installed a new water heater and removed the old one which should end the story. One month later I have no hot water and noticed the pilot light was not lit so I called my gas company to come out. They informed me I had a """"natural gas"""" water heater on my propane system!! Yes...All Star Plumbing had installed the wrong type of water heater! Before you call ASP please Google """"installing a natural gas water heater on a propane system"""" to see what a dangerous situation they put my family in! When I called ASP they acted as if it was """"no big deal"""" and they would send someone out to put a """"conversion kit"""" on it. So if you Google the above you know that would not be an option. I insisted they remove the """"wrong"""" one and install the correct one which they finally did. I requested they reimburse me for 312 gallons of propane that """"blew through"""" this incorrect """"mistake"""" and was met with no remorse from the owner what so ever...unlike what they say to the reviews they receive when they do their job properly.

Thomas did an inspection and was able to immediately find the issue contributing to our leak. And this was after another company had come out and did a poor assessment and left two holes in our ceiling! Customer service is a lost art, but this guy is really old school with it. He was courteous, attentive, professional and absolutely personable. The only reason I gave the company a four is because He hast to finish fully assessing and making final recommendations. But so far, he's a winner.

Home warranty sent this company out. I had an appointment between 1 to 3 p.m. At 2:30 I called to make sure they were still coming. The lady said the first appointment took longer. So common sense would tell you to call the following appointments to say there would be a delay. No, her response was that he would be there and notify me when he is on his way. I call at 3 p.m. aND no one answers. I call at 3:15 and no one answers. I call at 3:30 and no one answers. At 3:45 I call my home warranty and explain the past few hours. He gets the plumber on the phone. She says they called me and no one answered. (LIE) As you can guess I have been guarding my phone. So I ask the representative to put her on conference call. As you can guess, she refused. She said she can reschedule for Friday. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I asked the representative to change plumbers. This one is HORRIBLE!!!

I was assigned Allstar Plumbing Services through my home warranty company. The service (or lack thereof) I received was the less than disappointing. Problem was not resolved and tech was very rude and unprofessional. I have a sewage smell coming from somewhere in my upstairs bathroom. I explained that I have run hot water down the drains, even tried draino, but still the smell persists. There are no clogged toilets or drains so I mentioned that there could be a cracked vent pipe. Nevertheless, tech did not do anything except flush toilets. Somehow tech could not smell the horrible sewage stench in my bathroom that every other person who has been in there has smelled. Instead, he tried to upsell me on a $450 non-covered service to detect methane gas (Something the gas company could do for free). I said that was ridiculous and asked him to please check the vent pipe. He refused and then just left. He didn't even bother to put the lids back on the toilet tanks before rushing out the door. Never have I ever experienced such horrible service.
