Don't do it! I called this company by mistake. I am giving it a bad rating for marketing and pricing practices. I was looking for a company that would provide sewer power jet and camera services and when I specified this I was told that' ""The responding plumber would have everything he needs to clear the drain."" but... will he be able to power jet the drain and show me the results? "" I'm sending out Jose and you will be satisfied with the job, one of my best guys"". OK, I'm getting tired of the sewer waste the shower basin so"" let's do it."" Jose showed up within an hour and proceeded to get out his coil power snake out of the truck and I asked him about a power jet and he told me they always start with the snake, I have bells going off in my head but, the sewage stinks and not going down. He snakes it for about 10 minutes and tells me the snake hit a jam and is not going any further, he needs to go under the house. alarm bell is now a siren so I ask him how much for what he did for today and he says $375 but let him go under house, it could be a simple fix. Long story shorter, it is a complete sewer pipe replace for $3,900! To be fair to Jose, he busted his ass cutting out and replacing the pipes and went home dirty and tired that night. ""Are you coming back tomorrow to replace the ten feet of pipe and two unions at the other end under kitchen?"" he say's ""No, that would be extra and he would check with his boss on cost."" Goes out to his van and comes back with an additional contract for $3,100 after discounts to finish this end of house! But original contract says $3,900 for all galvanized pipes under house. Oh no, that contract only covered other end, I'm told. WTF?!!
It says all the pipes, don't know how to attach copy of contract. BTW this is a national group operating thru local plumbers. They would not finish job in my opinion,or adjust price. The topper ""What about my ten percent discount for seniors?"" The answer was "" Oh, I see that here, it was already figured in."" See it where, not on anything I have?

PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. The answering service was overly friendly and a technician came out. We needed a hose bib (tap) replaced in the backyard. All the plumber needed to do was to remove the old one and screw on the new hose bib. The technician made a big show about taking pictures of the existing hose bib and sending it to the manager. The manager's diagnosis was to cut off the metal portion of the pipe and solder on a new one. He claimed that someone had tried to replace the bib earlier. Charges were going to be a whopping $475!!! It was too much for us and we sent the technician on his way. The manager called back to explain how honest they were. (LOL)
Anyhow, to cut a long story short, another plumber came over the next day. He was amazing - unscrewed the hose bib with the right tool and replaced it all within 15 minutes. He did not charge us a penny, saying that the job was too easy!!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!

Had sewage backing up into house. They ran a Roto-Router through house sewage pipes for $250, then referred us to city sewage services when additional blockage found on city property as sewage began flowing onto street in front of house. I asked for help and so they coached me until successfully contacted city sewage services after hours. The city man was true professional. He cut a tree root blocking a joint under sidewalk, and asked whether the plumber charged us. I said, ""No,"" but began to wonder whether blockage had been street all along. 3 stars because high charge.

I would rate this zero stars if I could. I've made 2 appointments with them on consecutive days and they didn't show up either time. Don't waste your time booking a visit from these clowns.

My advice, get a second quote from another company. I wish I had taken my own advice but my tenant had been without hot water for a couple of days and I felt that this was an emergency (more on that later). The work took place on a weekday, during normal working hours, and it was a fairly straight forward job to replace the water heater. In fact, the job was finished four hours after the technician arrived. So far, so good.
The quote for the materials was high, but within reason. Here is where the fun starts. I thought that the quote for labor was an estimate, based on the job taking a full day with more than one technician. So, when the job was completed in four hours by one technician, I thought the labor estimate would be adjusted accordingly. Nope, Allstar charged the full $2000 for a four hour job. That is a hell of a shop rate. Then to add insult to injury, an additional 30% was added on top of labor and materials, essentially a service charge paid to the company.
The city inspection was scheduled for the following week. The technician returned the next morning to do additional work and drop off the permits. The water heater failed inspection because the overflow relief pipe was incorrectly installed, venting to the basement floor rather than outside the house as per code. I happened to be there when the technician was talking to his supervisor on the phone and he was instructed to install the overflow in this incorrect configuration, so this one was not the tech's fault.
So, the discrepancy had to be fixed and another inspection scheduled. Fortunately, we were able to get another inspection the following morning, but the process of two inspections cost me nearly four hours of my time, mostly waiting for the inspector. It passed the second inspection, but for what I paid I felt that it should have easily passed the first.
Also, be careful when going through the process of payment and paperwork at the end of the installation. The technician asked me to make a statement on the Notice of Three-Day Right to Cancel to the effect that this job was not an emergency. I should have given this request more thought but I was still in a state of sticker shock, so I stated that the job was not an emergency. Of course, this is patently silly, because this was not a planned replacement, but I just wanted to get finished because I had spent my entire day on this problem. The technician said that it was company policy for him to make that request, so that seems to be pretty shady.
The tl;dr version is that I felt gouged on labor charges, for an incorrect installation, along with some shady business practices. Next time I will take a bit more care in choosing a plumbing company.
