We had an issue with the drain in our master bathroom shower getting clogged. The water when it did drain was coming up in our second bathroom's bathtub drain. I put a request for plumbing services on Yelp and Allstar Plumbing immediately responded. Their message said to call to make an appointment. I called Allstar and spoke with Sabrina who connected me with their manager Sergio. I gave details on our issue and we made an appointment for a plumber from his team to come to our house the next day.

Early the next morning, Sergio called me to let me know that Jose was assigned to our plumbing request and would be arriving at 9:30AM. Jose arrived right on time at 9:30 and was very friendly and professional. I explained our plumbing issue to him after which he did an assessment in both bathrooms. He consulted with his manager on the work that needed to be done and provided us with a cost (which included a discount). We agreed to the cost and work and he proceeded right away, always staying in communication with me and my wife.

It turned out that it was more complex to unclog the stoppage and some further work had to be done. He explained what he had found to us. After consulting again with his manager, Jose provided options to us on how to resolve our issue, with a higher estimate for the work (which we understood given what needed to be done). We agreed to the new cost and he continued with the work.

Long story short, Jose did a great job, unclogging the stoppage and stopping the overflow to our second bathroom's bathtub drain. We really appreciate Jose's commitment to solving our plumbing problem. He was respectful of our floors covering his shoes when he worked in both bathrooms. We definitely will use Allstar Plumbing again and would refer and request Jose for all our plumbing needs!

Anthony did a great job fixing our flush valve issue. He was punctual, professional, and explained everything clearly before and after the service he provided. The repair was done efficiently, and it has been working perfectly so far.

Jesse was excellent and did good work on our sewer line. I would 100% recommend him, if only he worked for a different company.

I had a problem with both my bathrooms - shower not draining, toilet not flushing the water down but rather leaking out on the floor, in the other bathroom, waste water coming up from the bathtub drain.

I talked to a plumber who had helped me in the past, he told me it was the main line and I needed it snaked, and our clean out was on our roof. He said that he was too old to be climbing on roofs, but I should call around to find someone who would.

I looked on Yelp and found Allstar Plumbing. I called in the morning, and explained that I needed someone to climb on my roof and snake my drain line. I was told that someone would call and set a time with me for the afternoon. I didn't get a call.

When I called at 3:45, someone was going to check and call me right back - 2 minutes she said. At 4:30 I called back. By 5, Jesse came to our house. He told me that he couldn't go on the roof because of insurance, and most companies didn't do that anymore. That may be true, but Allstar could've said so that morning so I could call around and verify that.

But they got me over a barrel, my family of five needs working plumbing, so I agreed to install a clean-out in the front yard for $3000. I don't know if that's a good price, because I didn't spend the day calling around to get quotes - I had no idea I needed to.

Jesse got right to work, teven in the dark and cold that night, worked hard all the next day and the day after until it was done. He seems quite knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. I believe that he did good work and we have working bathrooms.

But the company is uncommunicative at best, sketchy and manipulative at worst. I recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing help.

Allstar answered the phone right away and got me an appointment for the next day (they offered me a same-day appointment but I wasn't home). Jose C. was on time, was friendly, wore shoe protectors, figured out why my shower wasn't getting hot water, and finished the job in under an hour. The price was fair and we're happy to have our only shower back in working order!
