I really do not know where to begin...Over the last few years every job they have come to do was done incorrectly, and they had to come back to fix it. The latest one just happened and I encourage you to read on. The job was done with poor quality, lack of attention to detail, and caused flooding beside my house. This was a basic job but they did such a careless job, and then expected payment. After I had them come back two times to repair it (it was not fixed), I talked to the owner who said he would be over within a day. Three weeks passed and not a word. I had to make alternative repairs as it looked like the job was abandoned. He then calls and ignores all details of the disaster they created and put a lien on my home to get his money. Do not do business with this company, they expect payment regardless of the quality of their work. Sounds like a poor business model.

We hired Allright Plumbing and Heating to install a new hot water heater. The quote came in at over $4000 and included electrical work that needed to be done. With the house being over 100 years old, we understood there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done to make sure the new system was up to current code. The technicians were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The install went well - they were flexible in working with us as this is our vacation home, and I had to get my mom to stay at the house while the work was being done since we were not in town.

While I'd like to give more stars for the service and the technicians, I have a problem with the company trying to nickle and dime us. The first issue arose when the work didn't pass inspection by the city. They had to come out to fix several items and told me they wouldn't charge a service call but I'd have to pay a fee for the materials. Ok, just wanted the work done and approved, so didn't make a fuss.

A couple of weeks later, I received an additional invoice for electrical work. I believe this second invoice was in the ballpark of $250. I called and spoke with the owner and told him that all charges for electrical that I approved of were included on the original invoice and already paid for. He said that the new invoice was the amount that the electrician billed to him and that he'd just eat that cost.

A couple more weeks go by and we have renters checking into the house. They report a really loud alarm coming from the basement, and it turns out that the hot water heater was leaking (we had a sensor put in for this very reason). Allright Plumbing came out (it was a Friday evening) and said we needed an expansion tank to go with the new hot water heater. We were taken aback by this new expense of close to $400 after paying for a new system to be installed at over $4000. We ended up having the technician make an adjustment to stop the leaking while we researched the expansion tank. An invoice comes in for another $200+ since it was an ""emergency visit"".

A couple more weeks pass and another guest reports a loud alarm again from the basement. Allright Plumbing comes out again and insists that we need an expansion tank. The technician explains to us that this is pretty common in these older homes and that they make customers sign a paper when they decline tanks because they know this leaking will occur without a tank. Another $375 for a service call and expansion tank later.....

The issue we have is that we were never told we needed an expansion tank. We never signed a waiver declining the tank in the original bid and scope of work. They should have simply included the expansion tank in the original work and charged however much it would have cost, minus the two service calls. This is an oversight on their part. Is this common practice with Allright to make more money by charging for service calls when they know that leaking would occur without an expansion tank? Buyer beware.

I've used Allright Plumbing and Heating for over 10 years. they always give superior service and the knowledge that their different technicians have is superior . They've replaced water heaters, A/C unit and furnace, toilets and sinks over the years, and they have always done a great job. Congratulations to a great company.

I had a problem with my furnace yesterday, it started making a loud noise. Picked Allright plumbing from a google search and was very satisfied with the service I received. They were prompt and courteous. The technician seemed knowledgeable and pointed to the problem right away. He told me I needed a part that was not a stock item and would have to drive to a distributor to obtain it. He did so and my furnace was back up and running in less than an hour. Really awesome service. I'm glad I picked Allright. I would recommend them to anyone.

All-Right Plumbing was called out to my elderly Mom to look at a problem where water wasn't coming out from the sink faucet. I live out of state and wasn't able to be there when they arrived. I had to admit that I was concerned that they could have done all kinds of 'unnecessary' work in order to create a larger invoice!
They did not do that. They were honest when they said they just found a clog at the spout and fixed that. They didn't charge anything other than the house call fee.

This is obviously an honest company not out to cheat anyone. Very recommend for anyone who wants to find an honest company!

No shows and no cares!

Called them to hook up our new kitchen sink after a new countertop installation. They were super eager to fit us in for their last-minute cancellation the following day. We were pinched for time and I was so glad they could fit us in between 3 and 5 the following day (Thursday). Two other companies couldn't come out until Friday and since we were pressed for time I stopped calling around and promptly booked with them. They never called, they never showed up, and around 4:45pm I finally called to address the issue - looks like Julie booked you for 2:30AM instead of PM - she tells me - and that's not a time they conduct appointments so when she pulled the schedule for her plumbers this morning, our appointment did not exist. She continues to tell me that at this point there was nothing she could do for us since it was end of day.

Despite her kind demeanor. This is just bad business. We are now without a kitchen sink hookup, the other two companies are booked solid for Friday, and its looking like we will now go the entire weekend without a sink or pay a premium for an after-hours appointment time slot due to this ""unfortunate oversight"".

They have most certainly lost my business.

I give them credit for responding promptly to a distant location. However, we've had two issues which were not fixed the first time. In the latest incident, a technician was out one day and back the next when the heat failed again overnight. We were charged $160 labor for the first visit and $460 labor for the second visit. I would be much more satisfied with the price if issues were fixed on the first trip.

We recently had to replace our water heater. Stephanie was very efficient and helpful when we called. She knew exactly what we wanted and scheduled delivery for the same day. Joe and Matt were here right on time and installed the new water heater quickly with no hassle or mess. We are not used to such excellent service and would definitely call All Right Plumbing again for any plumbing issues.

Wanna know why the Walgreen's at Circle & Galley smells like a diaper? They had a plumbing problem. A plumber was sent Saturday. He disassembled the men's room and discovered the pipes needed to be jetted. That was a two person job and God forbid he calls a co-worker. He left the toilets disassembled and DID NOT cover the open sewer lines. Two plumbers were sent Monday. They jetted the lines, however, reassembling the men's room was NOT THEIR JOB! The sewer lines were again left uncovered and a new work order was placed to have yet a third plumber come on Tuesday to complete the work.
If this is the service they provide a multi-billion dollar corporation what may the common customer expect?
One star is too much!!

Called because of al leaking water heater and used Allright before and we're satisfied. They came
promptly and were very pleasant, BUT plumber started taking water heater apart before giving us an estimate. Estimate was high but since he'd started we had to go with it. Receipt was sloppy and illegible so I had to call the next day for a breakdown of charges and they still seemed high. Since then other plumbers, neighbors, inspector and contractor all said we paid too much by several hundred dollars to almost twice too much. Will never call again--no more speed dial.
