Lawrence from ALL home services came to check our A/C and could see from the evidence that our issues were legitimate. We have had ongoing problems since we bought the house 20 years ago. Every time we have anyone to try and fix the issues they all failed. Lawrence is a veteran and has learned in the military you have to do it right the first time.

Update: We have just found out this person is using a scam to get you to sign for a loan and also give them a promissory check in case your score 'is not high enough for promised rate'. We started talking about things after he left and the answers he had were too perfect. I do not know the actual name of the company just the letters he had on his shirt "ALL". Also he has a story about losing his little girl to asthma caused by mold. I doubt that's true either. Heads up people don't let someone tell you they can fix everything - we have been desperate to have our A/C fixed and took the bait.

Easy peasy changed the kitchen faucet and shut off valves in less than an hour.
Also checked out utility sink and told us what to buy for DIY.
Lupe was our plumber.

Lupe was quick and efficient, installing a new toilet and even did some quick spot painting to cover where the old toilet was. Old toilet was hauled away and we are pleased with this service.

My first dealing with this company was when my AC/heat pump system backed up and leaked through my downstairs neighbors' ceiling. They "fixed" the issue and sold me a maintenance contract for $300, promising to call and schedule maintenance visits. They never once did. When I called, they said they never told me they would call to schedule. When they came out, they failed to bring a ladder, so they promised to come back to reach my AC compressor. They kept cancelling. Then Covid rolled around.
They also told me to pour boiling water down my drain, chased by vinegar and more boiling water. When I did, that caused a real leak, so I called them to come out. They tried to tell me my drain was installed incorrectly, cut a section of pipe out and told me to call a plumber. I said you're not leaving till you put back that pipe. They still owed me maintenance visits, but it was Covid, so I stupidly let it slide for a while.
Then I stupidly followed their boiled water advice again, because I'd forgotten about the previous experience, and water gushed out. Called them again. They said my system needed a mold cleaning and talked me into a UV light --which they wanted to charge me over $1,000 for. (It was under $150 on Amazon.) They wound up getting $1,800 out of me --including $300 "off the books" to squirt a bit of biofresh into my system (a gallon costs $30, it turns out). That also included another service contract I didn't want. They wouldn't itemize the bill, either, claiming to be a "sum total" company. Except they'll happily add on costs item by item. They told me they would "see what they could do" when I asked, repeatedly, for an itemized version (which I needed because I wanted to see if my insurance would cover any of the mold removal), but simply blew me off.
The UV light installation was in August. In November, I tried switching on my heat. It took several tries. Then the weather got warm again. When it got cold again, I couldn't switch the heat on. It dropped to 57 degrees before I finally got it to turn over.
Then my neighbor told me about the clicking noise my compressor had been making (it's on my garage roof; I didn't hear it with the window closed). I called the company. They came out without a ladder (the second or third time that's happened). Came back the next day and told me I needed a new thermostat, but they would somehow override my system to make it work till then. Except it didn't. On AC, it blew hot air, so I had to turn it off. I had no AC for nearly a week of warm weather while waiting for my appointment. Then an hour before they were supposed to arrive, they told me the thermostat install would be $245 (not counting the thermostat, which I bought). Then they said if it wasn't the thermostat, I would need a new compressor. The current one is only 7 years old.
Every step of the way, if I asked for a call back, I never got one. I got LOADS of attitude from the bitchy Lori, who can't seem to schedule timely service trips from San Antonio to Austin despite the fact that they sell maintenance contracts to Austin customers.
Today, after I found a company that actually wants to solve problems, not just rip off customers, I learned that the problem wasn't even the thermostat --it was the miswired UV light, which isn't worth the money and never worked anyway because it was wired incorrectly. It almost burned out my system in the meantime. This company installed my new thermostat and fixed the problem, including rewiring the light, for less than Allpha wanted just to do the thermostat.
Don't let yourself be taken advantage of by this unscrupulous, obnoxious company. STAY AWAY!

Worthless, rude. and incompetent are the three best words I have to describe these people. Person who answered phone was actually yelling at my wife. When we asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager. Bought complete A/C system from then 4 years ago, and they came out yesterday to fix ($75.00). The "fix" lasted about 10 hours. Called again this morning and they sent somebody, and now they said it was the compressor, and they could not get one here until Tuesday of next week. Meanwhile the temps will hover around 100 degrees during that time. No offer to help in anyway except to be rude on the phone. Am looking for owner info. will report to BBB. Recommend you take your business elsewhere. I certainly will dump these people once their warranty is over. This company states owned by veterans. SAD example of veteran owned business.

UPDATE to my previous review below (read that one first)

So with all that happened previously, we ended up going with a different company and come to find out they were able to just put Freon in it and have it working the next day!!! It is currently still up and running fine! Obviously it would be great for anyone to have a new unit but for it being in over 105° weather, for a month without AC in the house, with two small children we made it very clear that we would be happy with a repair or replacement whatever it took... as far as the home warranty process works first option is to have a company try and repair any issue before completely replacing. ALL PHA came and barely even wanted to run a leak test the man told me that there was just no use in it and basically told me to turn it off so I did for a whole month, while waiting around for them to schedule the service, completely waste my time by ordering wrong unit and drop us on the claim because they would not own up to it!! Excuses!

When The 2nd company came out they were able to run tests and said it was just a refrigerant issue. He instantly added the Freon and it's been working ever since. I even mentioned to them how ALL PHA recommended a whole new system and they were saying that it was not necessary. We are not currently in the market to spend so on a new system until we move out of here, so I'm glad that this worked out the way it did. This just proves that ALL P.H.A. are definitely crooks and tried to take advantage on getting a sale on a new unit, instead of fixing any issues first or even trying!! They disregarded the whole thing and had no compassion how that would effect us.. What a LACK OF INTEGRITY!! I am so glad that the 2nd company resolved our issue.

One of the worst experience I have in so many years! Choice home warranty assigned this company to replace the tub spouts. Their tech came and cut the copper pipe under the spouts and asked $280 to extend the pipe. When I pointed to the office manager, Lori that the pipe was cut and caused the need to extension, Lori stated that they can use different spout to make it work EVEN other tech from her company came to evaluate the condition and told us the pipe needed to "extend" in order to work. Lori became very rude and tole me I had to pay for the pipe extension and denied the damage was done by their tech even I showed her the picture of the pipe was twisted at the end with fresh cut line! When she realized I won't pay for "their mistake", she wanted to have home warranty to assign the "job" to different company!
