Sump pump failed. Called a few plumbers. After checking BBB and reading some reviews, I chose Allison Plumbing. Came ASAP. Replaced old pump with new one and price was exactly what he quoted. Very reasonable, honest, personable and great service. When I need plumbing help, Allison will be my plumber. I highly recommend him.

I needed 2 shutoff valves replaced before my new washer could be installed. I called Allison, Joe answered himself and was able to come same day within about 5 hrs. Needed a plumber to clear out a colgged basement drain in my 1954 house. Called this company and they gave me tips on the phone to troubleshoot (very helpful, made sure I really needed a plumber). When the plumber came out to snake the drain he was very nice and professional.

I was impressed with Joe when he came out to look at my project. Unfortunately, they left me hanging for 4 weeks with no communication even though they had promised to provide an estimate within a few days. I could have been talking to other plumbers but I thought I would be working with Allison Plumbing. Now my project is delayed and I am frustrated by the disconnect between my experience and the other Yelp reviews.

I had a great experience with Joe! I had a backup prevention valve installed in the basement and had wanted him to check it and install a proper cover. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of the questions I had. He only charged for one hour plus the real price of the cover even though it took him longer than that to leave and pick up the cover after making sure which one I needed and to answer my questions. On the way out he even recommended a root killer for my sewer line as an alternative to the power rodding that I do every year. I will definitely be using them again!
