We discovered a leak in a exterior wall. We talked with Jason at alligator plumbing and had a technician come assess the problem. Two technicians (Justin and Fredi) came the following day and once the wall was opened, they quickly removed and replaced the damaged pipes. Justin and Fredi were courteous, efficient and left everything clean. Alligator plumbing was referred by a friend, we would also recommend Alligator plumbing based on our experience!

After trying unsuccessfully to unclog my kitchen drain myself, I called Alligator Plumbing. Fredi, the technician, was prompt and was able to diagnose and fix the problem, and left the work area clean. The cost was $425, which I think is reasonable for the work performed.

Second time hiring Alligator for residential plumbing work - this time as a second opinion after being quoted the ""discounted rate"" from another plumber of over $2K to do a bunch of work that he felt was necessary (run a new gas line for our home to stop a leak). Spoke with Jason in the morning for a second opinion. He immediately sent over Mike, who was prompt, professional, and thankfully very knowledgable about diagnosing and troubleshooting our gas leak issue. After about 20 minutes of running back and forth to different potential problem areas of the house (also putting on shoe covers each and every time he walked through our house - thank you), he referred us to call PG&E who was, as he said, actually responsible for the real problem. Sure enough, PG&E fixed it same day for no charge. Alligator then sent us an invoice to follow up for the diagnosis work for $0... this has never happened in my life, ha! I had to come here to rave about them yet again after they literally saved us thousands today and prevented us from having to cut up our concrete foundation over the next several days without gas (hot water) in our home.

Thank you again, Alligator Plumbing pros!!! Will be calling again when we get to upgrade to a tankless water heater.

It has been five years since my review. I thought it was time for an update. Alligator plumbing continues to be an honest, efficient, skilled company that I rely on for all my plumbing needs. They have been out many times for various reasons and I couldn't be happier with their service. I have recommended them to several friends who have also reported back that they were very pleased. Castro Valley is blessed to have an excellent plumbing company we can rely on!

Although Mike from Alligator plumbing didn't solve the mystery of the back yard leak, he was really good about helping us diagnose, eliminate possibilities, dig and evaluate, and charged us the minimum for his time. Once we find the problem, we will definitely call them back.

As someone who values time and efficiency, I could not have asked for more. Even upon our initial interaction, they responded so quickly and with a date and time that they could be at our place. Ok done!

We had a leak in one of our bathrooms and needed to find the source. I scheduled them to come over to provide a free estimate. I knew a fair range was going to be within $250-$400, so when they quoted us at $290, we said yes and had them do the work right then and there. They were in and out quickly and the parts and service for repair also came with a limited time warranty. Emailed us a line item invoice and we were done!

Super friendly, very professional. They were great to work with and I'm glad to have found a plumber in our area for all of our future needs!

Was having water pressure issues and thought it was because we had galvanized pipes that needed to be replaced. They came, looked around and suggested replacing the water pressure valve.

We did that and now the water pressure issues are fixed.
