We had a great experience with Allied Plumbing late this Fall, before the holidays. Our Home Warranty company assigned them to address an issue in our home. Dominick called me back the same day I left a message and we got a quick appointment. He was professional, respectful and also used a mask and shoe covers the entire time he was in our presence. He was thorough and patient when explaining what was happening. We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend Allied.

Allied was sent out to our home In Chester, Va by our home warranty company this week. We had plumbing issues with our toilets & garbage disposal. FIRST & LARGEST COMPLAINT: the tech who we believe is also the owner did not wear a mask & he did reluctantly wear one that I offered. SECONDLY: I have never encountered such rudeness by anyone service person that has been to my home. At no time did he explain to me what he was fixing or what his diagnosis was. Every time I asked him a question he was very impatient. While he was there I called my home warranty company to ask about coverage. Apparently, he was done and didn't tell me he was leaving. I went to put my shoes on to go outside and give him the check for my deductible he was gone. I CALLED HIM ASKING HIM WHERE DID HE GO TO WHICH HE REPLIED MA'AM I HAVE OTHER CALLS AND I WON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU PAY YOUR DEDUCTIBLE PLUS WILL BE CHARGING YOU ANOTHER $40 FOR CALLING YOU HOME WARRANTY WHILE I WAS THERE AND WASTED MY TIME. I have never heard of anything like this! THIRDLY: I stated to him over the phone that when/if he does come back we would need him to wear a mask. My husband & I are in our 70's and my husband is currently undergoing chemo. HE SAID HE CAN'T WEAR A MASK BECAUSE HE HAS RESPIRATORY ISSUES RIGHT NOW. Why is he even going into customers' homes if he is having respiratory issues. Overall, the whole experience was rather unbelievable. For all these reasons stated, we cannot give a positive review of Allied Plumbing & Construction.

Would give no stars.Very disappointed in this company. Technician Dominick showed up w/out a mask- I told him he needed one to come in (due to COVID-19), he said I don't have one. I said thank you Dominick and closed the door. Wife was frustrated as we have been waiting since last week for service, said she would take the kids and stay upstairs. I opened the door and called to Dominick, he yelled something derogatory and said call another company and left.

***UPDATE**

I now am receiving harassing phone calls and texts from Dominick and have had to make a police report. He has internet stalked me to find out where I work and has threatened to leave poor reviews on the business website-although the company I work for has nothing to do with the situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Dominic quoted me a repair price then then was told the price was actually $200.00 more than quoted. Trying to take advantage of an older single woman. He SHOULD be ashamed at the very least but doubtful. Scam artist for sure!

Do NOT hire this company. A Plumber was ""scheduled"" to come out to my property between 12pm-5pm. I made arrangements with my Boss to leave work early to receive the guy. By 4:55 p.m., I had heard nothing from them so I called their office to get an ETA. I was told that they had not dispatched anyone to my property for the day. The earliest they could get someone out would be the next day but AGAIN from the 12-5pm. I explained that I am an hourly employee and had already missed 5 1/2 hours of work for the day and asked if they could narrow the window of arrival so I didn't have to miss another 5 1/2 hours of work. At which point, he got irate and said that's all he could do. I went on to explain that I could not miss work again for that extended period of time due to their error and the guy hung up the phone on me! I've never been treated so rudely by a service provider in my life!

I called my home warranty provider to schedule through another company and to issue a formal complaint against this provider. I don't care if I have to live with this running toilet another week while I get scheduled with someone else. Allied Plumbing will not get one red cent from me....ever.

We are very pleased with Dominick's service to move an outside faucet. it doesn't happen often that the service ends up being less than the estimate!

Dominick was very helpful as we are selling our home and had to get some plumbing work done - and fast! Long story short - we were being given the runaround by our warranty company and were running out of time to get the jobs done. After days of frustration with them, Dominick offered to do the jobs anyway at a very reasonable price and fit us in quickly!

Never showed and was extremely rude and unprofessional when I called and asked questions. Sounded lazy and flippant.

He was contracted through our home warranty company, scheduled between 1-5pm, and after waiting around all day, I called at 4:50 because I didn't know if he was going to show or not. I finally got in touch with him and he denied ever having us our his schedule. I argued a bit about this and was put on hold only for him to come back and say ""ok yea, your address is on the list... I guess I can be there in 20-25 minutes"" followed by telling me he'd come ""and take a whiff and look around"" though he wasn't sure he could do anything for me but he'd gladly take my money. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

I called my home warranty company back and told them to resubmit the claim with another company because Allied plumbing wouldn't be allowed to come to my home. So ridiculous!!

Service person sent by Sears to unstop kitchen drain in January. Contacted Sears on several occasions with no results. Finally, I was directed to the service person who initially did the service call. He was rude and provided not help to resolve this problem. I paid him for nothing. I will NEVER use him again. This problem is two months old with no resolution.
