We had issues with HAVC and have used Allied for plumbing previously. The tech came out and we told him the AC wasn't working and there was moisture around the unit. He replaced the ""board"". 5 days later I walk into the guest room and the carpet is soaked. Open the AC unit and it is pouring water. Call emergency services 3 times and they said they would contact the tech on call again. After 2 hours I told her to just make sure Allied called us first thing in the morning. Filed insurance claim and called Serv Pro. The next morning, Allied called and said unfortunately they couldn't get anyone out here until tomorrow. My husband explained this was an emergency. I called her back and she started making excuses why the tech didn't respond to emergency call. NOT the way to respond to a stressed out customer who has major damage to home because the tech didn't fix the problem in the first place.

I told the dispatcher this was not acceptable and not to send anyone to our home. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ALLIED. Call someone else if you need help!!

We had a leak in our kitchen faucet. We got the replacement parts direct from Moen but didn't feel comfortable doing the job ourselves. My wife called Allied, and they came out later that day. Daniel was here less than 30 minutes, fixing the faucet with the parts that we supplied, and charged us $187! We called them for an itemized receipt, but they won't send us one. Wish I had read these reviews before calling them; I NEVER would have wasted my time or money with them. Save yourself some serious money and please call anyone else!!

$300 to do what other companies have always charged $140. Avoid Allied Plumbing if you expect fair and honest charges. If they see an opportunity to take advantage they will do just simply avoid them!!! There are too many other reputable plumbing companies to choose from.

I have a leaking AC. They came out and looked at it for a while. Said nothing was wrong and changed $180.

Now I have a leaky AC and I'm out $180. I regret paying them l.

Had a 12,000 dollar AC system put in. Allied shortcutted from the start, we lost track of how many techs came out, leaving and claimed to have ""fixed"" the problem. WE couldnt get the unit below 74 degrees in the heat. This was a huge system. 4 ton system. One tech, Ben was actually rude to us, being about the 7th tech who claimed he fixed it. finally we insisted on Allied calling the York Rep to come out personally to assess the problem as to why Allied couldnt fix it. They just kept replacing parts that they claimed would work. Nothing worked, we were frustrated. Thank God for warranties, as Allied was forced to fix it. After all, it was a 12,000 dollar system. York rep found the problem within a few minutes and made Allied adjust the ""problem"" they never caught tho a trade school tech should have known this. We did our homework and went through alot of crap with Allied. The only good thing we have to say about them is they came out within 2 days each time we called them. We treated them very well, were very patient with them, good tips each time because they reassured us each time they had the problem fixed. Thank God we insisted York come out and help them, they needed it. Get a warranty with Allied and dont take what they say as truth. Actually, call someone else to do the work of air and electric.

City came out and told us we had a leak in the water line somewhere between the street and our house causing our super high bill. Called Allied, they said they'd need to have their sister company Trenchless Leak Detection come out to help them find the leak to the tune of $500. ok. Set up the appointment. Turns out, the leak was right AT the meter but we got charged for leak detection anyway. 2 guys spend half the day hand-digging a hole next to my existing meter to run a new regulator. Charged me $1500 for that.

$2000 to dig a hole and cut in a pipe.

He called me when the work was done and said the water was back on and they ran it through the hose bib at the house and everything looked good, so he was going to go ahead and sign off on the ticket since I wasn't home. OK, cool Thanks!

Get home. No water. From any faucet in the house.

I called back and a nice service guy named Raul (who is super nice and the only reason they get 2 whole stars) came out and went through every fixture in the house, cleaned screens, and ensured every faucet poured clean water. He even got into our tankless water heater and cleaned out debris in there. Awesome! No charge for the visit because hole digging guy didn't do what he was supposed to do when they finished the job the first time.

Several days later, our tankless starts fritzing and cutting out during morning showers. Ugh! Yesterday? It stopped working altogether. 2 days of cold showers, y'all. I AM VERY GROUCHY ABOUT THIS.

I called back and told them what happened and hole-digging guy comes back out. He tells me he was on the phone with tech support and they basically said my tankless was hosed. No fixing it. They could put a brand new in the box-but 10 years old one in for $1000 but it wouldn't have a warranty. OR I could spring for the $3800 Navien. But no charge for the call because he wrote it up as an estimate. I should say.

Lawdamercy. If he thinks I'm spending one more dime for them to futz up my morning showers? He's a loon.

We had a problem with our heat pump. I called on Saturday and left a message figuring I wouldn't get a call back BUT they called back within an hour and were here within two to check it out. Jeremy Smith was SO nice and very knowledgeable! He called me several times to keep me updated on when he could make it to our house. He did lots of research on our unit because it wasn't a common one for him to work on! He spent lots of time and figured out our problem and got it fixed quickly! Since we moved to this house, we have had SO many issues and dealt with many different ac/heat companies! We used a home buyers warranty for the system and it was a mess! We have never had such a wonderful experience! Every time I called during the week, I got a real person to talk to! Ask for Jeremy! We will use him and this company if we have anymore issues in the future!

The worse company ever! First they send a guy out here spends about an hour in my attic, not once did he go to his truck comes back down and charges me 130 to splice a wire connector. Heater failed to work again they send second technician who advised me that now it will need junction board first tells me no charge then changes his mind and wants to charge me 700 now. My heater is working by the way! Don't do business with these people not very honest.

Just a heads up consumers. Main sewer line clogged up. $180 to clear. Clogged again within hours. Tech said the sewer line was back grading and full of grease. I guess he has X-ray vision. They recommended a water jetter. $350. Sewer line clogged up the next day. Won't be calling back this company, their X-ray vision was flawed. Never offered any solution to fix the problem. Just wanted their money.

I was pretty stressed out, but they walked me through what they were going to do and about how long it would take, and they came through big time. Ed was very friendly and knowledgable.
