I do not recommend this company! If you are being forced to work with them via HOA's, insurance, etc., just go the way. I recommend that you choose a reputable alternative to Alliance Mechanical of Richmond Hill, Georgia. You will end up spending money with them that you will never get back, as they tip-toe around your issues, offer temporary or ineffective fixes, and will not admit or correct their mistakes. I've had them come out three times for the same issue. The last time they made a mistake, and tried to cover it up. When I brought the issue to their attention, it was all attitude and I was rushed off the phone. Do yourself a favor, fix it yourself or find real professionals.

I would be very cautious about engaging with this vendor. They seem to be going through some significant growing pains these past few years. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with Alliance on HVAC installation and maintenance. Yet, we could not get reliable post-service installation. For example, for one of our latest issues with our heating system, it took two weeks to get a technician dispatched who actually understood how to troubleshoot and diagnose the type of system that we have here (heat pumps). During this two week period, the heat kept failing in our main building guest rooms every night. A second example: A few years ago, Alliance installed an NTI furnace in one of our buildings. That furnace has failed many times over the past few years, most recently due to the combustion chamber being full of water. According to NTI, this problem results from improper servicing (clogged condensate or improper combustion settings). These types of issues are supposed to be dealt with through annual servicing. Although we were under an active maintenance contract for all of our equipment (and for which we paid a significant fee each quarter), the issues were not detected nor resolved until we had a complete failure in the boiler, requiring replacement of the combustion chamber. When we addressed our concerns with Alliance, the President of Alliance informed us they no longer wished to do business with us, and to seek support elsewhere. In summary, it seems that Alliance is happy to take your money to install the equipment (and for quarterly maintenance!) but they are reticent to stand behind their work or properly service the equipment you paid them for. Proceed cautiously!

I was forced to use Alliance Mechanical due to my condo association's relationship with them. Over the years, they have ""found"" many issues requiring thousands of dollars of repairs. Unfortunately, there was not another option to verify any of these findings (since all repairs/services were arranged through the condo association), so I was at the mercy of whatever they said. If you let them into your home, they will ""discover"" many things wrong that require their repair. For instance, they'd come in to fix one problem and a month later say there were multiple other issues requiring servicing. I'd definitely shop around if you have that luxury, as I have serious concerns about their integrity and about their strong desire to create business for themselves. They will not communicate directly with you and will try to pressure you to do something by saying that a part is almost gone (which costs thousands of dollars) and you need to replace it immediately, or else it will take forever for it to be restocked. I do not know if the other businesses in this field are any better, but please check out your other options if you are able.
