UPDATE: I contacted the number indicated and did not receive any assistance. We are loyal Allgood customers with excellent plumbing service in the past. However, our most recent experience with a toilet repair has been far below par. Allgood charged us $375 to air snake a toilet. The toilet flushed one time correctly. When we called to schedule another visit since the problem wasn't fixed, they wanted to charge another $475 at which time we said no thank you. I have contacted their quality control manager through phone and email in order to get some of the $375 back, and she keeps saying she is investigating, but I am getting no answers. I do not recommend this business.

They told me they was gonna send some one out to my mom house to look at her ac unit. I called them at 400 and they was gonna send someone between that time and 8 they called me at 7 and said they can't get no one out until the next day. I wasted all that time I could've use someone else

I had to have a part replaced in my Navien tankless water heater. They charged me $410.00. I got on Navien's website a found out it was a 16.00 part. He was here an hour. Was way over priced. They just lost a customer

On Sunday May14, I noticed my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. After an initial investigation. I noticed the condenser fan was short cycling (this is when it starts and runs for a minute or so and stops). Because the unit was less than 2 years old. I decided to call Allgood Heating and Air (the vendor who sold and installed the unit) to come out and repair it. 1st, they scheduled me on Tuesday May 16th for an appointment between 9 am -12 pm. they never showed, no call to let me know or call to reschedule. It was after 3 repeated calls that I finally was able to have the service rescheduled to Wednesday may 17. the tech was able to immediately confirm what I already diagnosed. the less than 2 yr old fan had malfunctioned. He confirmed the part ($250-$600) is under warranty. But the labor will be $1352. I was SHOCKED. Replacing a Fan motor takes less than 30 min. I called the local Allgood customer service to inquire why the cost is so High. the response I got was """"this is a corporate price"""". I was able to get the cost reduced to $900 but I have not seen the charge back on my card as of today May 23. The service Tech did come today May 23rd but only after I called to inquire if they were still coming. (Again no notice). it took 8 days to get the air back on. Allgood service is HORRIBLE. And appears to be a scam. The tech arrived at 1:43 PM and was done with the job at 2:02 (about 15 min) for $1352.00. they will get the part replaced by the manufacturer so that cost is recovered. I on the other had bought the new part and a HUGE service fee. do not use them for service. you will get ROBBED.

Scheduled an HVAC """"tune up"""" through Lowe's. The technician called and told me that the capacitor was bad and that they would charge $325 for replacing the $15 part, but that he recommended a completely new system. I declined because the """"reduced price"""" capacitor charge was so outlandish. One day later, another contractor found the unit fan running backward, dirty filters, a detached plenum, and dirty coils - none of which were mentioned by the Allgood tune up technician. It is clear that they simply wanted to sell a new system and not address any of the basic issues causing the problems. This is immoral.

I received an email from Allgood for the """"Main Line Drain Cleaning"""" service for $69. I though that was a good deal and called and scheduled the appointment. Also while they are at my house I said I would like to get an estimate to clean out the drain line from the sink in our kitchen. The kitchen is above the garage so the line is exposed with very easy to access. The girl I spoke with said no problem and made the appointment. Then about 30 minutes later I received a call from Allgood. The person said they will not provide an estimate for the additional work without an additional $50 charge. All the service person would have to do is look into my garage to give me an estimate. SHE REFUSED! Even though they would already be at my house and I would already have paid them for the """"Main Line Drain Cleaning"""". This COMPLETE UNETHICAL business practices from Allgood Plumbing. Complete GREED and horrible service when I was already going to pay them and they would already be at my house. It's not like anyone would even have to make a special trip to come out. Someone would have already been at my house and only had to look into my garage. DON'T USE Allgood Plumbing for their horrible and UNETHICAL business practices.

I have given over $15,000+ of business across two new HVAC units and a tankless water heater plus multiple hundreds on one off problems. Saturday, a gentlemen came to the house to fix my AC which they had installed, the fee was $79. He told me that my coil was bad and the replacement cost was $3,000 in labor, even though the part was covered by the manufacturer. With my long standing relationship a manager agreed to a """"free"""" second estimate. Today the call center called my wife and told her that we would have to pay for the call out and if that was not acceptable, we can go elsewhere. She tried to explained the relationship and the fact that there was a prior agreement for a free estimate. The lady on the phone would not budge and told her again to go elsewhere. So we did, and the problem was not the coil but an issue with the low voltage wiring which was blowing a fuse (Allgood installed this). All in all I paid $350, 10% of what I was going be paying Allgood. I am so disappointed that they did not honor their commitment but more importantly the diagnosis was wrong. And it seemed that they were hoping that we would be pushed into a $3000 con job. Sorry to say I will never use Allgood again. Also get a second estimate or opinion before being conned.

Hot water heater repair. Current plumber, G Force, went out of business. They recommended RS Andrews, which couldn't do the job, but recommened Allgood. I had heard of them, and seen their service trucks around town, so assumed all would be OK with the repair. $1,112 to replace a gas control valve on a relatively new Rheem water heater. At the time we approved the pricey quote, I thought the cost of the part must be expensive; probably at least half of the total cost of the repair. But I had no way of knowing the part only costs $144.39 from Rheem, because parts and labor weren't itemized on the Allgood quote. I would have never approved their quote if I had known the the labor was going to be so expensive. And no, the repair didn't take very long; at least not long enough to warrant almost $1,000 in labor costs. I contacted Allgood about getting an itemized parts and labor invoice so we could at least file a warranty claim with Rheem, and was told that they don't provide parts and labor quotes or invoices for their customers. Shame on me for not asking more details about their quote. Shame on them for not being more clear and customer-focused about their pricing. Needless to say I will never do business with Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Cooling again. That too is a shame, because I was in the market for a new plumber. They could have had a customer for life.

Beware of Allgood. I paid them to come out and provide an inspection, diagnosis and estimate for repair on our water supply line leak in our foundation. Estimate was for """"not more than"""" $8500. Scheduled work. They didn't show. Rescheduled work and they came out, worked all day then said it will now cost $23k because they didn't check the pipe they were going to connect to in the first place when they put the estimate together and deemed it unable to be used. Need to trench across the street and connect directly to the main. I paid half and asked to settle on final price with the supervisor (who never called. I had to go on facebook to find out his contact info and he quit a week later.). The team worked another day and then said - they were digging around looking for the main. They had not located it and it would cost another $7k to continue. Exploratory digging isnt a plan. So I paused the work to have them or the HOA locate the main using technology and to settle on a fair price to resolve. Determined a work plan. Offered them the first opportunity to complete the work. They demanded payment of the rest of the $23 K (another $11.5k) plus more to continue work. What exactly am I paying for? They never repaired the issue, trenched property and street leaving rubble, damaged the whole home filtration system and left me with a hot mess all for the price of$23 K? I hired another plumber who is fixing the whole hot mess for $7k. I was and am very disappointed, They are threatening to send my account to collections. Said their money back guarantee doesn't apply to plumbing. Do NOT use Allgood.

Company called and asked if they could perform the fall service with a special $49 per unit price. Tech arrives at the last minute of his four hour window and performs the service ( I think) then leaves dirty filters in the foyer, and wants $1500 for unnecessary work. And he wants $37 for a new filter but doesn't have it on his truck. Worthless? oh yeah!. Now I have to run to Home Depot to get a $15 filter to keep my unit running and this douche leaves without putting in a filter and leaves both thermostats on 69 degrees. Allgood is all bad. Never using them again.
