I was over charged for work performed at my home. I sent the company my invoice, a check and a letter detailing how my security camera showed the crew leaving after 6 hours. I was charged for 8 hours. The only reply I received was they cashed my check.

Do not trust this company! I have seen this in other reviews what I was done to me. Allen's overcharged me for hours they worked, in addition to not fixing the problem. They also tried to charge for plumbing repairs that were not broken. Very unethical company, Beware!

I would give this company NO stars if I could. This company took FOUR MONTHS to repair water leaks underneath the foundation of my rental home. It was a tragic cluster of blunders and delays from day one. In order to avoid $500/month water bills, I had to keep the water turned off at the meter the entire four months. I would only turn it on once or twice a day. I had to get dressed at 5:30am and go out into the dark, cold, scary alley and turn on the water to get ready for work. I would take a shower, do up the dishes, flush all the toilets, fill the dog's water bowl and two water pitchers for myself for the day. That's all the water use I got in a typical day. It was like camping out in my own home. I must have made 50 phone calls about this including to the property owner, the property manager, Allen's Tri-State Mechanical (the office, the estimating department, and the crew supervisor), and the insurance adjuster. It was one of the most aggravating things I have ever gone through in my life. Thankfully, the leaks were repaired a couple of months ago. However, they have never returned to strip the forms from the concrete walkway they had to replace or to fix the various holes they drilled and saw-cut out of the interior walls. Oh, another thing. I didn't have to pay the bill because I am a renter, but I was told it was in excess of $14,000. One of the workers told me Allen's Tri-State Mechanical charges a minimum of $10,000 to dig underneath the foundation for five feet. Then it's another $1,000 per foot. Really?! These guys get paid maybe $20 an hour, and one of them told me it takes about 1.5 hours to dig a foot. What a markup! I would recommend you stay as far away from this company as possible.

Excellent fast service!! Very impressed! Super nice people. Chris and his crew Gilbert and Jose were awesome! Very informative on what they were doing and very quick! I will use them always for my plumbing and Ac problems!
