We have hired Tom Allen several times to clear the roots out our sewer line and unplug our floor drain. He is always on time and very polite, friendly and professional. I trust him and feel completely comfortable having him in my home. He cleans up the area after he's done with the repair too, which is awesome. His prices are also really low. Tom Allen was about the friendliest guy you can imagine when their job is cleaning out sewers lol. Our house is 80 years old and we have lots of root trouble with our sewer- he was fast, efficient, so cheerful, and was very affordable. As long as he is in business, we won't ever call anyone else.

my opinion, is tom was dishonest, from the git go,he lied about the permit cost (1500) less than stated, still charged it.he hired out the job, did nothing and still charged me (2500) found out the city fixed the neighbors for free, same repare ? dont trust him or get a second opinion, buyer be wear.

I was not pleased with Allen's attempt at service. I found it difficult to connect with Mr. Allen after serveral attempts to set up an appointment for work that was previously discussed.

I will not be using this businesses servcies again due to the sheer lack of consideration or professionalism.

I found another business that offered warranties on work done and were professional, friendly and CALLED me back to set up an appointment for THEIR BUSINESS for around the same cost!

I am very surprised by the previous review on Tom Allen's services. I had a clogged drain underneath my house, and had been quoted $200 by Mr. Rooter for a 15-30 minute job with a powered snake. Tom charged $95 (and always charges less than $100 for interior pipes), fully cleaned the pipe all the way to the sewer main, and re-glued a pipe (for free) that I had accidentally detached when trying to fix the problem myself. He also offered advice for how to avoid the problem in the future based on the peculiarities of the slope of that particular pipe and how it connected to both the laundry outflow and garbage disposal upstairs. I'd wholly recommend his services.
