After living in an older home with a very large tree out front, along with all of its roots, the drain was backing up water into the basement and could no longer handle the flow of water. Tom Allen to the rescue! He has the best technology and with his camera could see that the sewer line, in the front yard, was cracked and broken, due to tree roots, and half the line was clogged with mud. They quickly scheduled a date and time to come an replace the sewer line. Tom was excellent to work with and was professional throughout the experience. He explained each step of the drain replacement project and his team worked efficiently and quickly. Highly recommend Tom Allen for all of your drain/sewer needs.

I moved into my home recently and both my bathroom sink and laundry tub drains had significant blockages. Tom was very communicative and efficient. He was here within a week and had the blockages cleared in 45 minutes. He explained exactly what was going on/what he was doing. I appreciate that he didn't charge me an arm and a leg, either. Moving into a new older home can be frustrating. In our case it was. One thing after another needed to be repaired...then 3 months in our new residence, our basement toilet started gurgling and acting funny. Tom A. came out early the next day and using a camera found the source of the problem...and more. Not only was the pipe clogged but there was a break at the juncture with the city's line. Tom was marvelous working with the city and was able to assure us quickly that all would be taken care of. Within one day, the excavating in the street was done, new pipe put in, and road repaired. And it turned out to be a bit tricky given the location of the pipe. All at a reasonable price for the amount of work.

Tom will take care of your sewer or drain problem for you quickly and you'll be able to rest easy knowing that you are in capable hands. Competence and trustworthiness can't be beat.

I found Tom from Allen's Plumbing Services last year. I hired him to come and fix my broken toilet valve - it was leaking like a sieve. He had to make a trip to Ferguson's Plumbing Supplies to pick up a special valve. He still only charged me a minimal amount compared to others.

Tom mentioned that he also cleans out drains so I made a note of that, and he recommended Shields & Sons Plumbing (now Meridian Plumbing) for more serious plumbing needs. He couldn't have been nicer.

I appreciated Tom's honesty, friendliness, and professionalism.

Thankfully, Tom mentioned Meridian Plumbing because on 8/2/21 I had to call them due to a massive bathroom faucet leak. Annie the plumber replaced my bathroom vanity, sink, and faucet. She did an excellent job.

On 8/10/21 I called Tom again for a plugged drain behind my washing machine. I also asked if he could bring a new lid for my main bathroom drain in the basement. A plumber from a previous company broke the lid and didn't replace it.

Tom has an apprentice now and showed him how to clean the drain out. I was surprised when Tom said he had to run his machine twice due to the rust build up in the pipe because it didn't take much time at all. He also went out to his truck and came back with a new lid for my bathroom drain.
Still his cost was minimal.

I recommend Tom and his company Allen's Plumbing Services whole-heartedly.

Tom came out today, he did a great job. It was a good price and they did great work in and out in an hour and took the time when they were done to explain to me what was going on with my drains.. He was well-dressed clean and professional and friendly. I would recommend them and I will use them in the future.

My entire family has used Allen's plumbing for years! A few months ago I had a huge flood in my basement, Allen's was not available this day so I had to call around. The plumber came out he was extremely rude and said they couldn't do the work that day, I would have to wait 1-2 days for him to come back. I had over a foot of water in my basement. I called Allen's plumbing back to see if they could come the next day. He ended up squeezing my basement into his busy day a few hours later. He not only came that day he charged nearly half what the other guy (who was rude) wanted. I called him back for a pipe that had fell just recently, he came out and fixed it quickly. I asked him what he would charge to replace a toilet, he told me then asked what was wrong with mine. he asked to look at it. Once he realized what the problem was (I didn't need a new toilet) he said he can not leave without fixing it and he did! He also told me what to do to keep it working good. He didn't even charge me any extra! If there is any amazing plumbing service in the world it is this guy! I will NEVER call another plumber unless he recommends them!

Great service! Highly recommend. Called about a drain back up and had to wait a couple days, but decided it would be worth it, since he told me how much he charged on the phone and said he could come then. Called him back, he came, found the problem and after trying to clean the drain, we realized it needed replacement after hitting dirt. My 70 year old cast iron drain had basically disintegrated. We scheduled to have the drain replaced soon after and loved they way they handled everything. I consider myself a tough customer and was worried about digging so close to the house, etc.
but they did a fabulous job, quickly, as painless as possible and the price was very reasonable, since we have had a different section of the sewer replaced before. I love the no nonsense (BS) approach to finding the problem and solving it. Period. My kind of business.

Even saved my bonsai tree! Which wasn't easy but made me very happy.

Tom is not just a plumber, he is a gracious, warm, caring guy. He took care of some plumbing issues in my elderly father's home, and went above and beyond to make sure my Dad was cared for while he was there. I do not normally write Yelp reviews, but Tom is a gem and deserves all five stars.

I called Mr. Allen after my washer and shower water wouldn't go down. Ended up being a major root problem in one of my lines. Mr. Allen tried for half hour to get past it to no avail. I was looking at a 10 thousand dollar repair if he wasn't successful. He kept working on it and when others would have told me, sorry, can't do it, he got it cleared and my house hold was flowing again. I'm so thankful for him and I recommend him without a doubt.

My bathtub wasn't draining and I was really concerned that it was something major. Tom came in and checked everything out and was able to determine that it was rust-build up at a connection point. He worked his magic and in minutes, the bathtub drained. His price was reasonable, he was punctual, clean and very considerate. Most importantly honest and knowledgeable. I will continue to use him for any other plumbing problems. A-1!!!
