Never Again... I have used Allen Plumbing in the past with good results and fair price. Yesterday (12/13/23) I called them with request to unplug a stopped up drain... The lady called and told me, their just down the street from you and will be at your place in a few min. Ok he did show up a few min. later came in, unpluged the drain in just a few min. Had me sign for the bill and he left. He was here I would say about 10 min. The lady called me today (12/15/23) and asked if I was ready to pay my bill for their job. I said sure, how much is it? She replied $129.00 . I replied , for 10 min. of work, she said YES... So Never Again will I use Allen Plumbing.

I hired your company to snake out my clogged sewer line and charged us $300 for it. In the process, you busted our good American Standard toilet which would flush and replaced it with the base model non-flushing style of toilet. I'll never use you crooks again.

We live in Van Alstyne, TX, we called Allen's to fix 2 faucets in his master bathroom. We had 2 guys show up, they tracked in mud and made a huge mess they were here for almost an hour. They cleaned out a filter on both faucets. We were charged for 1 mechanic and 1 helper for 2 hours each. For a total of $172.80. When we called to see why we were charged for 2 hours per person that came he was told that Allen's charges more when they have to drive to to Van Alstyne. I can understand having a mileage charge because of the price of gas now, but not for 4 hours of service when they were only here for 1hour. We will never use Allen's again, and would never recommend their services

Sad to say that I cannot leave a positive review for Allens Plumbing. As a contractor myself who provides construction services, reliability is a number one component in todays industry. Unfortunately Allens Plumbing is not a reliable service. An older gentleman that I am helping out has been without water for two weeks. I reached out to Allens to get an estimate on what it would take to this gentlemans water back on. It took 3 days for the estimate to be done only for me to have to call multiple times to get the cost of the estimate and an ETA for getting the work done. After finally getting in touch with Johnny, "the estimator", I was told that the service would be performed Monday but with no specific time. I called just a bit before lunch time Monday only to be told that 7 of their employees have called out and that they don't even have me on their schedule. It sounds like they have bigger problems than just upset customers leaving negative reviews. Sad thing is, I never even got the opportunity to become one of their customers. I called another plumber up and they came out and did the work within 30 minutes. It was a quick job to begin with. I would not recommend Allens plumbing unless it is your last resort or you do not mind waiting on them to decide when they want to become attenuative to your situation. I understand the plumbing world again as I am a contractor who contracts out plumbing work everyday. I would not feel comfortable adding this company to my roster of capable and competent contractors.

LOVE THESE PEOPLE!!!

Been staying with my daughter off and on helping/playing with the GRANDbabes, when I stepped in water. Thinking one of the girls maybe spilled water, I was wrong. We had a leak coming from under the bathroom sink.

Called the spouse to have him come and check to see if the pipes were leaking under the sink. Nope! Spouse said it was in the wall.

We called Allen Plumbing & HVAC, as my daughter had previous amazing service on an A/C Unit at another home.

Last week two professional young techs came out and knew exactly where to zero in to find the issue. This is a two story home so I was hopeful it wasn't upstairs, and it wasn't.

I was amazed at how quickly they found, repaired and were done in no time. And yes she had a leak in the wall.

Kudos to both these gentlemen as my 2 year old granddaughter decided they were there to see her. She is not shy at all. When they were getting ready to leave for a quick lunch, she noticed they might leave. She wrapped her tiny arms around their legs to try to make them stay. Both gentlemen were so kind and sweet to her.

Most definitely would use these people over and over again!

This company left a family of 4 without water for several days.
Called on Monday morning and was told they were busy, but could come out the next day to look at our water meter that was filled up with water. Someone did show up the next afternoon. He told us a price and agreed for the work to be done. He said he would call the following morning to let us know when he could be out. Well that call never came, so around 11am my husband called the main office and was rudely told that we would receive a call around lunch time. THAT CALL ALSO NEVER HAPPENED. So do yourself a favor and call another company. It has been 2 weeks and we still haven't received a phone call.
We ended up calling another plumber and getting our water back on the next day. Read the other bad reviews, this is repetitive nature for this company.

Have been serving the community for over 50 years! This business is on call 24/7. The owner will take the extra steps to assure you are taken care of and receive the best deals possible in the area. I appreciate their business on my house and how quickly they came out on the weekend to help with my AC issues.

I hired this company to service my AC unit for the spring/summer service. They didn't even open it up, before the man left I went to check to see what had been done, the unit still had dirt and leaves on the inside of the unit.
I had employed this company for the last, at least 5 years. Never again.

I would give this place ZERO stars !!!!! Our time window was from 10-12 in the morning and of course, no courtesy call and the man didn't even show up. When I called, I was told that "it was sprinkling outside and so work can't be done". That's fine, but don't waste your customers' time by not calling them to let them know that! Absolutely furious with this poor company.
