Can't believe how professional this company is. Preston arrived within an hour of my calling regarding a leaking sink. He is personable, professional and very efficient. Our problem couldn't be solved because it required some input from the faucet company but the trip charge was more than fair and I actually look forward to having him come out when the parts come in. What a painless plumbing repair experience this was. Thank you Allens IN MAUI and Preston.

Did not come on scheduled day. Next day,19 minutes later with our parts, we were charged $149. Previous conversation on the phone did not elude to this high price. They will not charge hourly and pull the number out of their ass.

I had a drain / plumbing main clog at a very inopportune time. I called Allen's and Sam Medeiros was at my house within 1 hour. He was courteous, professional and got the job done quickly. Dispatch did a nice job as well. The price was very reasonable. I will call them again when I need them...

As they actually never did any work, my low rating is not based on the quality of their work. They had bid a project for my very elderly parents for $3200. My parents were all set to pay the amount and move forward. I happened to be at their home and saw this quote that seemed to be rather high based on the description of the work to be performed. I questioned Allens about the amount and was told that they plug information into a computer and it spits out an estimate. I asked that they take another look and received no response. Several days later I had another licensed plumber do the same job for $560. I tried calling the owner to let him know that from my perspective, I felt this was an example of taking advantage of the elderly. I say ""tried"" as the receptionist would/could not put me through so I explained my story to her and asked that if the manager cared to discuss and perhaps give me a legitimate reason why their bid was 6X's higher it might help change my opinion. It is their business and they can do what they like, but it certainly has me questioning why the amount was so much higher.

Best I can say is they showed up. Plumber spent 2.5 hours and charged $325 and couldn't unplug 2 bathroom drains (back to back). Then wanted $625 to hydrojet to fix. I called another plumber and he cleared drains in 10 minutes.

Highly recommended. They are as responsive as possible, often coming before the committed time. They are sensitive to not doing unnecessary work and keeping cost down. All of the Associates, on the phone and the field guys, are polite and very knowledgeable.

They were great. So thankful they squeezed me in last minute. The office was very responsive, the workers promptly arrived when they said they would and took care of the job quickly and efficiently. The guys were also in a great mood and very respectful, even though I was their last job of the day and an add on. Very impressed.

I just had pretty much the same treatment as those that gave them a very poor review, I called Allens to replace a water heater at my condo the lady in the office was very helpful and even gave me a quote that was very reasonable well the day they were supposed to replace the water heater they sent out someone that looked at the job and guess what the price they quoted at the office was $895.00 but when the technician showed up the price jumped up to $1550. I called the office and asked why they gave me a quote to do the job and then almost double the price their answer was that only a tech can do the quoting and even though they had a greed to a price before coming out they refused to stand behind their quote. So I am posting this so hat maybe some one will read this and hire a plumber that stands behind what they say felt like a bait and switch to me. They got me once but never again.

Be careful....$600 for two hours of labor is a bit steep for installing an electric water heater. When I asked them to break down the almost $1200 bill they were hesitant and vague at best. Would not recommend.
