I had a major issue with my sewer back up on 5/2/15. BENNETT came out to help with the clog. AWESOME service. I am not knowledgeable with maintenance around the house. I am truly grateful for his patience with my questions. Although he couldn't fix the clog on his own because the issue was so major that a simple snake couldn't do it, he went above and beyond to make a call for me to someone who can assist. Not only did he make the call for help, he kept trying to snake the sewer line and even put a camera to diagnose it to try uncover the real issue.

SCOTT, and the Jetter had to get called in! Scott came with his machine and not only did he unclog the pipe, the main sewer line, but investigated to find the root of the problem. He and Bennett discovered a crack in the sewer line. Scott even took the time to show me the camera footage in the sewer pipe and explained my situation.
I really appreciate their patience, knowledge and the fact that they stayed late to help me even though they missed the Pacman and Mayweather fight! Thank you BENNETT and SCOTT from Allen's Plumbing for your help!
Scott even called Daniel (sales guy) that same visit to have Daniel follow up with me Monday to get quotes.

Yes, Daniel called me on Monday to tell me he will do the estimates for the fix today 5/5/15.

I choose Allen's based on their reviews here and wasn't disappointed. Everything from Cheryl, the first person I spoke to, Steve, the tech analyst, the dispatchers, and Scott, the tech who did the install were all polite, professional, anticipated everything (thank you Steve, your suggestion to double check with home depot on their stock and warranty replacement policy saved a lot of potential angry conversation with Home Depots very poorly trained staff). While the install wasn't cheap, it seems to be the going rate and I was more than pleased with the quickness and quality of the install and overall interaction with all the staff.

Completely dissatisfied with the customer service and dispatch. I called to double-confirm my appointment time 30 minutes after the 2:00pm appointment time. I was told the plumber was still on an earlier appointment, and they would call me when they were on their way. Ok....

Almost 2.5 hours past the 2:00pm appointment time (4:15pm), I'm still waiting and now wondering if the plumber will even have time for my appointment. I called their customer service again.

I was greet by a gentlemen who placed all the blame on the dispatch for not notifying me that the plumber was STILL on the earlier appointment. And this guy had the nerve to offer me emergency service for an EXTRA charge, because it was now after 4:00pm.

I abruptly declined, instructed him to cancel my service request, and that I'd take my business elsewhere. I tried to be patient, but the no-call about not making it today, and the nerve to offer me emergency service for EXTRA charge was too much.

My advice. Stay away from this plumbing service. They don't care about your time or satisfaction. take your business elsewhere.

I honestly never write reviews. However, I had such a great experience with Allens plumbing that I wanted to make sure that I took the time to let everyone know. I needed a water heater replaced on a house that we had just purchased. It wasn't just a replacement. We needed a bigger tank and it had to be relocated. I called initially just to gather information about inline water heaters and solar. Kane (spelling??) at Allens was so nice to explain everything to me with so much detail so that I could make an informed decision. I finally decided Solar was the way to go, so they sent someone out to give a quote. It wasn't the cheapest quote, but I liked the experience and attention to detail that they had. It took us a long while to finally pull the trigger. I called back several times to get more details, ask more questions, etc. They were always so patient, answering each question and even sent people out more than once to adjust the quote based on changes that we had made. They called a couple of times to check in and see if we wanted to move forward but were understanding when I wasn't ready to pull the trigger. When we finally decided to move forward with the installation, they were ready and willing and were able to get everything scheduled within a week. The workers that came to complete the work were great. They were professional and hard workers. They tore our old water heater out which was a difficult task by itself and installed the new solar one outside. It looks great and works great and we couldn't be happier. Such a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend them for your solar water heater needs!

All we wanted was a quote from 3 plumbers. Thats what the home owner wanted. Allens plumbing is the only one that couldnt provide a quote. He wanted to charge up to use the camera and some hydro pressure something, and some other services. And refused to leave till we paid for something. He kept offering other services. We told him we are not paying for it and that the home owner will. So we cant pay for all that services. We told him we know the pipe is crushed so just measure it and get us a quote. And he kept offering something. Made me lte for work because he kept repeating himself for 45 minutes that he needed to do something. Finally after we wouldnt change our mind he said he would get us a quote and took my email down. Its been 3 or 4 weeks and no quote yet. The way that he said it, i knew there was no quote coming. And i was right

Super expensive prices. Got another company to do the work for half the price. They are fast to come to your place for an appointment, but if you do not use them, they charge you $50 just for the site visit. They don't give phone quotes over the phone which is understandable but how you gonna stay in business especially in Hawaii with ridiculous rates?

Did not use the service. I just wanted to make a complaint about one of your drivers who cut me off this morning. I was leaving the airport, making my way to H3 and one of your drivers almost made me hit another car as he crossed over in front of me.

This is not good for your business.

Called this morning with an urgent need to snake our kitchen drain pipe, was assured that some one would call me back in 10 to 15 minutes to arrange the time they would arrive. No one ever called. Really bad service. Fortunetly, after a few hours of waiting I called a competitor who responded immediately. I will never use Allens Plumbing again.

This is the first time I tried Allen's Plumbing, after paying $700 to fix a shower handle and replaced a toilet flushing unit, not because of anything wrong with the flushing unit, it is just because I have to hold the toilet handle for a while on ever flushing. Ater the new flushing unit is installed, I still have to hold the handle on every flushing, this make me questions why did he recommend to replace the old unit. This whole experience just make me wonder ......

Allen's Plumbing has been our go-to plumbing service for our house. No matter what the problem (broke a pipe in the yard; frozen valve ; toilet backup) they help you over the phone until help is on the way. Today - Daniel was very professional and courteous and timely with the repair. It's an old house so it has it share of issues. Call them! They respond!!!
