Ok- I will admit, I usually do not go for the bigger businesses when I hire for repairs. I was stuck with a drain issue at one of my rentals in Kent on off hours and the guy I've used in the past was not responding any longer. I called Allen drain and they were friendly, responsive, and fit me in quickly. The workers that came out were knowledgeable and got the issue corrected promptly. Their pricing was way more affordable than expected (less than the independent guys I've used in the past).
I'm never calling anyone else for drain problems. I've used them several times now (drain issues are inevitable with 4 units full of college renters) and been happy every time. I called them out once and it ended up not being a drain issue - they let me know what the problem was and didn't charge me for the false alarm. They also have a warranty of sorts and will come back at no charge if the drain clogs again within a certain amount of time (I believe 30 days). The customer service is outstanding. This is the company you want to deal with.

This place has some woman named Ashley who works there and when I called the company to inquire about the mess they left I was met with a barrage of curse words by her. I was startled to say the least. Ashley seems like she is not the best choice for making this company look good. I will not be using this service as they left dirt and mud throughout my house and never bothered to clean up after themselves.

We had to call Bob back we had another clog. The warranty states they will snake the drain again however if they find it's you not them such as things that don't belong in a toilet or sink. I am happy to report I put the warranty to the test and Allen Drain did what that said at no cost to us !!

Great service! They came out the same day and took care of problem quickly. Mike was great and they called back to tell me they were on the way and then checked to make sure it was still working. Price was extremely reasonable also. I will call them every time I need a drain cleaned, you should too!

Horrible customer service! Took our money and never finished the job. They had techs come to the house to fix our septic they told us it needed to be drained first. They said they would send a truck....They never did! I had to call them acted like they had no idea. Sent the drain truck out the next day, stoled $400 from us , and NEVER came back to fix it! Our septic is still not working....I will never use them again. Wish I could get my $ back. Beware!!! Not worth it....

If I could, I would give negative stars. I called for a main sewer line snake. We'll see if the service actually did anything. But the mess that was left over was inexcusable. Let's start from the beginning. After tracking mud in on my carpeted stairs, THEN putting on the protective covers on his boots I see mud, grass, who knows what else (brown substance) all over the floor. He wiped up the biggest parts with a towel and left caked on brown substance up to three feet off the floor. I called and first words were ""Well we're not a cleanup service."" Later saying ""We're not a cleanup service but There's no reason for the amount of mess you're describing."" They offered to send someone out to assist in clean up but I do not want them in my house again. I have used Allen Drain Service two times before and both were good experiences. However, once is enough. Do not use them inside your home.

Very happy with the service and the price.

On Sunday of Memorial weekend of course my basement drain and main is clogged. I called another nationally known service at 10 am because they had clearly listed 24/7 service. They quoted me a holiday emergency price to come out and said they would call me before they would come and anticipating between 1 and 3 pm as they had another call first. 5 pm and still no call no call. I called their answering service and they had the service man call me back and he said his call ran late but he would call me before he came out. 7 pm still no call.

At 8:20 pm I gave up on the national service and I called Allen.

It was pouring rain and Xavier arrived around 9 pm. He explained the process and the guarantee. Was very polite and set me at ease. Service was complete by 10 pm and main drain running again. The cost was 2/3rd's the price of the national chain (that never showed up or called back).
