I just received a bill in the mail. I do not know them., I am in Georgia there a Jersey business, very suspect.

WORST EVER!! If I could give them a zero rating, I would. They cashed my check to shut house down for winter, in October. Just got a call from neighbor that outside pipe is burst. Beyond furious!!!! Not the first time they've ripped us off, but this will be the last. And we are long time (30+year) costumers.

The serviceman was at my house for no more than 5 minutes to replace a washer in the pipe under my kitchen sink. He didn't even have to diagnose the problem. My son-in-law found the broken washer. I was charged $115. I called to question it, and was told they automatically bill for a minimum of one hour, regardless of how long the repair took. My house is pretty much around the corner from their business so they didn't even have any travel time. I told the secretary I would be writing a review about the unfairness of the billing, and she told me to ""go ahead - that's what most of the plumbers charge around here"". This place lacks integrity by taking advantage of a local customer.

We had a very complicated renovation for our 62 year old bathroom. The plumbers were highly experienced and did an excellent job. The secretary was very pleasant and very accommodating for our needs as we tried to coordinate four contractors to do the job...electrician, tile guy, construction and plumber. We had tried another plumber for our master bath three years ago and can tell you that Allegretto stands by their work and is the best in this area.

I actually contacted Allegretto Plumbing and Heating, but could not find them on Yelp. Same family so I'll write the review here.
Had an issue with a pipe that burst coming from our basement to our backyard. The service person replaced the broken pipe. We waited the 24 hours he recommended before turning on the water. We now had a geyser shooting up from under the deck. Called the office to have someone check it out. The secretary said she would have to get back to me. I also want to note that every contact I had with the secretary was on the unpleasant side. She seemed annoyed that I was calling.
Well, it's been over a week and I never got a return call. I called another company to fix our problem as I'd lost confidence in Allegretto's wanting to do the right thing. When I called Allegretto's to tell her not to bother as I had another company coming, you'd think she would have wanted to try and make right what they never fixed in the first place. Instead she rudely said ""okay"" and I just hung up at that point.
Very disappointed at their customer service and unwillingness to complete the job. I'm sure I'll get a nice bill. They'll be sure to complete the task of mailing it to me.
